Being the person on the outside, When the person you love and your partner is taken away; with or with out prior knowledge it is hard. Your properties, money and belongings frozen or seized. Going from having a 2 income family and surviving to barley 1 income still trying to support your own life with the bills both of you once shared and trying to make sure that your spouse is eating and not doing without the supplies they need each day. Things you don't think of until you are part of the system.
It is not just the person who is locked up, but your entire family become part of the system.
I can tell you every little bit of help is greatly appreciated to someone in that position.

I doubt the veracity of your claims, because I used to get paid to mark snitches. I've heard nothing about FDD being marked, or touched. And, don't fool yourself, minimum security is still full of criminals.
EDIT: When I was much younger, in prison because of a 'snitch.' And, because I committed a crime.
