I can never get down with dry rubs or any of that shit. I prefer my steak with coarse sea salt and freshly ground black pepper 99% of the time. Nice and pure, the way a steak should be. mmmmm I want to make steaks now![]()
step 1: actually buy a good steak.
step 2: cook premium steak.
step 3: eat the best steak you have ever cooked.
it really is that simple but people screw it up regardless.
that's all care about, a really nice piece of meat, the preparation isn't important so long as it's not overcooked.
then you haven't tried hickory its the only wood i'll use on my ribscharcoal?

i went with some ground peppercorns and kosher salt on that bad boy that i posted. and it was damn good!

My wife actual ysaid tonight,she was on the border of orgasmic eating my latest attempt.
I bbqed the steak, with a sweet sauce and lots of pepper over some black wattle embers and left a smokeing log under them while doing it.
OMG it was good, that was last night.
Tonight I took the leftovers and made a stirfry starting by frying onions and jalepinos from my garden in coarse dried chilly and hungarian paprika. Then adden the strirfry and let it get all well done, then add the meat last and let it all talk politics for a few minutes. Normaly I serve it with rice, but tonight I just slopped it on bread. Jamie Oliver you'll never make anything this tasty bro.
Not a Moo Moo steak, but a tuna steak! Thrown on white rice with some soya sauce.
