I'm in the weeds

Well the bottom leaves got more yellow on the small plant. I went ahead and gave some flora micro and gro. It has received it twice. Still growing but leaves stayed yellow. Plants 1 and 2 are taking off but growing at different rates. The lux level is vastly different at the canopy due to size difference. Really having fun with the plants and trying to understand what they need.

My first go too...with 3 different plants, all auto, but Northern Lights, Tangerine Dream & Blueberry). All completely different heights with different stretches. I ended up raising the shorties up to match the top of the tallest, which seemed to be the best way to even the DLI/PPFD at canopy levels.

I also found that if a plant gets some yellow leaves that are too yellow, they ain't coming back...but they'll replace them with green leaves once you figure out your soil more effectively.

If those were my girls I would add a black strap molasses to my feed. It will feed the good bacteria in your soil. They in turn will break down nutrients in the soil to a more useable form for the plants to uptake. I would also add recharge as it adds good bacteria and helps balance ph. It also helps unlock a nutrient locked plant.

As for soil I moved away from FFoF. There's just no clear indication of when to start adding nutrients and which ones to use when you do. Also I notice a lot of gnat problems with FFoF. You could consider Promix there are no nutrients in it to start. You'll have better control overall of what your plants are getting (no guessing with feed schedule timing). Dont be afraid to let your soil dry between feeds.

Thanks. I tried to get them evened up. Hopefully this will be better for them.View attachment 4980641
Yes, this is not dissimilar to my space...I use Amazon and other shipping boxes relentlessly.

Yep, not dissimilar to my space:

The tallest, the northern lights front right is 19” and the two shorter are about 12” or so. They’re all short since I basically built the tent around them and literally everything has been a learning experience.

don’t mind the cheapo seedling lights… I have a HLG 225 overhead and I’m using them on the sides until I can afford a pair of HLG 100 RSpecs to go on either side of the 225.

Is that a round metal grate under your grow bags? I have been concerned since I never water enough for water to come out the bottom. I always figured that is way too much water. I like the way that opens up the bottom so it doesn't sit in water. Is that your purpose for it>

Yes! Exactly. They're cake cooling racks and stand up about an inch off the saucer.

Here you go:

And I like these saucers...white and fairly deep and pretty heavy:

Water is 6.5-6-7. I water every 3 days. I have been doing nutrients every other time that I water. I am using distilled water because water in Dallas is hard has hell. I am using the trio of General Hydroponics. I haven't actually used the bloom since they are small but I do use the micro and gro. I guess I effectively gave you more info than you asked for haha

I don't know if you've answered this or sussed it out, but the feed chart for GH Trio (what I'm using too) is pretty aggressive even on the lightest option. So if you're finding burn, you may have to trim back. I'm growing autos and I'm pulled back to about 30% of their lightest schedule.
