50+ grams of trim at a time. i used 1 and a half cans of vector butane. it's still drying so i don't have a weight yet. :blsmoke:

Looks good! I have a buddy who's been getting into this lately, pretty amazing stuff. He is going with lab quality stuff to make it with some sort of seperator or something that catches to reuse the butane. Good luck with this, get a dry weight to us when you have it. Mmmm I think I'm going to put some oil on one of my buds right now, you inspired me with these pictures :)
 
i watched it rinse it all off. it was really cool to see. you could see a wave of darkness being pushed downward, getting darker and darker as it went. until it finally oozes out the bottom like burnt motor oil.



i grind my trim to powder in a coffee grinder. i get much better results this way.
 
I grind mine up too. Although I learned a half pound of trim destroys those things$m that fucker got so sticky I couldn't put the lid in and the blade barely moves anymore. Oh well only ten bucks at wally world

fdd2blk Did you make a glass extractor? and are they for sale?

exactly what lab quality stuff is your mate using, i only ask as i too have a friend who has access to lab equipment. I too have tried the delights of honey oil, like rocket fuel.

but was wondering what your friend uses could i try it also?

yes, i have a few extra extractors. they are a little shorter in length than the one pictured. maybe 10 inches or so. i could make longer ones as well.
