yea its prob the most resinous of anything ive grown yet, the pics really don't do the frost justice, wish i were a photographer lol. the other phenos i have are more of a mix between the OG18 and PrurpleTrainwreck, those will turn purple . i will still have to drop my night temps to 60 or so the last few weeks to get a good purple, just like with anything else that's purple and actually worth smoking.

yea that's how I feel with my purple diesel the pics I take looks good but seeing it in person is so much better

Sin CIty Seeds Platinum Delight! I grew out 10 seeds, got 2 phenos that turned very purple for me. Both covered in resin, and have a great taste. I've kept this one pheno for over a year now its just awesome.

This strain isn't sold as a purple strain, but seeing other platinum delight grows along with my experience tells me the purple is there in the genetics. This was the first plant I've ever grown that had completely purple buds every time! I wish I could really describe the flavor and smell, but its very complex and hits different notes for everyone.

I love me some GDP! I stopped growing it after about a year though. I couldn't get more than 1-1/4 per light.
 
This is Lohan (L.A confidential x train wreck) from reserva privada of colorado on my drying racks. Not a huge yielder or crazy flavor but purps up really easy even in higher room temps. Smokes great and smells like blackberry.

awesome awesome awesome that platinum delight looks kick ass. I can personally vouch for that lohan, I grew out some la con from dna a few years back and it was some powerful ass smoke. There trainwreck is highly recommended so a cross of the two that turns purple is just out of this world. F/N incredible

I actually just pulled a gods gift down, she was starting to purple up but the colas were so big she started to get mildew, so I yanked her a couple weeks early ;\

I'm growing a lot of strains, one of the strains I'm growing is hash berry, it's about 10 days in 12/12 and it's already purple. I don't know what genetics it is, I bought the cut off craigslist.

Sorry to hear about the budrot? in the GG. Where did you score that cut? CL? Because, thinking back, and I've grown allot of mendo purp/urkle type strains, that was def one of the bigger ones, which def made it one of my favs :-)

Lol no not every strain will turn purple. Some strains turn other colors under the correct conditions.

There is also a HUGE difference between a plant that genetically turns purple when grown properly and a plant that turns purple from a deficiency.
