she is sublime... i've been hanging on to my last 2 tops nugs of her... her aroma is so florally clean and subtle... very hard to describe. very slight muskyness, a little citrusy... sorta fuel-y, kinda burnt rubber candy... when you break a nug open and take a deep whiff, the soft main note sits really high on the nasal septum, with the citrus notes filling the whole of the nostril, but subtle... not overpowering. certainly unlike other herbs i'm more familiar with.

when she smokes, she doesn't make the room smell like that traditional pot smell. sorta incensy... she carries a soothing high, a good balance between a mellow head change and a fuzzy body high. the 2 effects seem to take turns sneaking up on you more and more until a substantial amount of time has passed... she's also spot on for my back pain issues.

i documented the day that the ladies crowned floral tops the time around, i forgot to last run... that would only have shown one data set for only the WF... so that wouldn't really count. aside from that it is showing, this time, that the strains have their own timetables, but thats to be expected.

i still have the hps in the garage, but i really have zero plans to use it, even for a side by side... what i have noticed is that the plants tend to grow in all stages faster with these than with HID or other fluoro lights that i have used (t5 & t8).

so, hows your friend's quest for the 420s going? i wanna see the sunlight in a box® shine on the land down under!

heya! Been busy man the indagro's have been pushed back a few months just too much happening moving interstate etc etc.. Dont worry OZ will have some soon enough god i love the lamps!! I love lamp lol

You'd have to decide between the 100 and the 200 since IG doesn't make a 150. The 200 does a very nice job in small tents and I like them to maintain my mothers. I use the 100 for my clones. Since the phosphors are all the same its just a relative intensity difference between the different wattage's. And it never fails. When the babies move to the 420 they waste no time in developing dense root structure and tight internodal spacing.

I think you would be more than impressed with the 200 in terms of canopy penetration. A single 200 will cover up to a 4 x 4 area but if you are flowering with just the one 200 then the area coverage at week 9 to finish will drop to a a realistic 3 x 3 area since you'll bring the light to within a foot of the canopy.

Actually, although this thread is about Inda-Gro, I'm still just talking induction regardless of brand. I have a company I'm looking at that I can get a 150w or 200w lamp and driver for ~$180. I was thinking about using that to replace the ~150w PLL set-up in my flowering tent. The induction lamp would be 2700k. I'm not ready to sink the $$ into an Inda-Gro until I can see what induction can do vs. lower wattage (per lamp) fluorescents in a fairly direct comparison.

With all due respect BJ, kelvin has nothing to do with PAR Watts, DLI, or PFFD. Regardless whether we're talking LED or EFDL here, if you spend $5 (Chinese crap)or $500 (US crap that started out as Chinese crap) on a wasted test, than your comparison is for naught. For example; I can guarantee you that most of the LED forums that I see on RIU where the poster is complaining about stretching, slow bloom, or deficiencies in a strain they know should be producing better by their past experiences under HID would be AMAZED at what adding just a 100 watts of a broad spectrum phosphor blend would do to change the plants condition when absorbing spectrum's they were simply missing under narrow band LED panels.

I have taken at least a dozen dead or dying plants which friends have brought to me in hopes of my saving them. The vast majority of the time these plants were stressed from lamps that failed to emit PAR spectrum's and within 48 hours of being under my Inda-Gro's had turned around and they've went on to become producers. As much as I would like to point this out on these other forums, out of respect for their chosen method of indoor grow light, I do not.

If your finances are tight, and you want to see additional comparisons of less expensive EFDL technologies than by all means do so. If you are intent on dropping $180 on a 2700K induction lamp than start a journal on RIU and I'll watch your progress. If you want to pop for a Inda-Gro Pro-200-PAR and put it up against another broad spectrum EFDL induction (not a two lamp 6500K veg - 2700K flower 'comparison') than consider me subscribed to that thread. All EFDL lamps are not created equal and that is precisely what your journal will illustrate.

Well, it will be comparing 3000k PLLs (2-55w and 2-24w) to a single 150w 2700k induction. I've been happy enough with the PLLs because of the lowered heat of my tent vs the 150w CMH that was in there, so I need something similar if I want to replace. I think the 150w with the driver/ballast installed externally will give me that.

I am not looking for a full spectrum lamp for an entire grow as I have two separate spaces for veg and flower. This allows me to have a perpetual setup.

As long as your buying China direct, which this YML brand is, just protect yourself and make sure they provide you with the actual UL file number and that they will completely cover their lamp drivers under a warranty that involves your installing their lamps and drivers in your own customized housing design. Most of the time the Chinese blame any driver component failure on your housing designs lack of thermal management in keeping the driver away from the hot (93C) lamp. Also be careful of the RF wires sticking out of the side of the driver. Any 200 watt EFDL lamp is carrying around 200v RMS as they run to the coil connection and should be shielded to protect from EMI and potential shock. The YML driver lets the RF wires run out of the side of the housing so be sure that you design your housing to protect the RF circuit.

If you want to know better what I mean by that RF wiring look at any closeup picture of the Inda-Gro driver and you'll see that only the line voltage power cord is coming into the IP65 rated housing. The RF wiring leaves the driver housing underneath the housing where you can't see it. This makes it easier to not only protect the wire but if you ever do have a driver failure during a grow you just disconnect the 4 screws that hold down the board, unplug the molex connector inside the driver housing and send the board back to Inda-Gro. In both of my cases Inda-Gro cross shipped a replacement driver while mine was on it's way back for a repair. I've had to do this on two boards so far that's why I know from first hand experience how it gets done.

Mate chaz is simply straight up and honest whats ur problem? the chinese panels are junk period... I could go on and on dude first hand u wanna see if a t5/t8 can keep up with a Inda Gro! A Hps hands down would smash a t5 setup... And Spliffs 600 has been put on the backburner so i dont see how u get the equation of a comparative grow Inda gro vs t5 would be beneficial.. And distrustful pfft you sound like a kid honestly! more like a tin-ass who wants something for nothing 24/7 365 days a year... Dude i suggest u stick with t5's cause u aint doing this thread any good with negativity u want proof inda gro's the shit? GOOGLE MY FRIEND! Peace!

Company that sells Inda-Gro lamps = no BBB accreditation

Chaz, stop shitting on other suggestions, I think it is good to look into alternatives in this fairly unknown technology.

Buck, you've been pretty much showing you have not been able to experience the Inda-Gro products yourself. So why are you so gung-ho about defending something you have not even experienced personally?
 
I'm out. I tried to give the benefit of the doubt after my initial speculation about Inda-Gro. Chazbolin ruined it for me. I will no longer participate in this thread, to the delight of some who want to sell a product it seems.

Dude I'm not 'shitting on other suggestions'. Go for it and post your journal. I'm just saying I would rather have a light that goes through the battery of tests that go with a UL certification, which Inda-Gro has, than a $25 BBB membership from a company that does not go through these safety tests. You burn up a tent and the POPO come.

Stay or go is up to you. Just chill out and let us know once your setup is running.
