Probably like 99% of people who are looking at alternatives to HID are gonna go with LED only, so it's a moot point anyway. I don't mind being in the 1%, or whatever, though. We'll give it a try at least. That I Beam should be here any day now, and the e-50 Red Booster as well.

Hey guys I can personally vouch for these lights now.....just harved.

So I live in NorCal and I decided to try fem seeds and they didn't turn out at all. Buds all sucked and very larfy.....the ones that sucked were as follows....

Female Seeds WWxBB sucked ass all trimmed up 4oz looks like 1lb in a turkey bag it has ZERO core weight and I didn't have to clean the fiskars ONCE.

G13 (I think) freebie white lavender smelled nice grew great.....larfy, clean fiskars ect ect...smells like sweet potato now cured lol disappointing.

GHS bubba out of 5 one lived and its just alright....slight Bubba smell, clean scissors lol

So I'm like oh fuck and start doubting the lights right thinking I need pontoons now or whatever.........

Ya'll ever heard of GT Dragon? I will never buy seeds again lol and I would put these buds up against any thouie on the market.
Buds so sticky I had to clean the fiskars like every 10 mins...full sized, great core.....props to these lights I don't even have pontoons.......I even did lolipops under a proPAR200 and I would put those up against a 400w HID.

No offense to anyone who has gotten a gem or a keeper from the Tude or GHS, G13 ect.....still gonna try some ET maybe SoHum Ringo's but on a proven strain I have grown before these ProPAR 420's rocked ass.

I kinda liked the way the NLXbb was sativa leaning.
I put it into my chemd bubba Auto sativa Mutt.

Speaking for myself, dry humor is appreciated to a much greater degree than condescension.

Thank you for taking up the 1% flag to prove that the future of all EFDL may not be moot and depends largely upon your personal garden results with the IBeam and Red Booster.

Hiya TwoStroke! Glad to hear round two went better for ya! And you summed it up bro. There are far more gardens out there running happily without the Pontoons than with. The Pontoons will add some weight and increase internodal bud size but you got it dialed in with your set up and that my friend is what counts!

Hey yall so the flower times like 13/11 for indicas and the more extreme for the sativa's are only getting done with the pontoons?

Correct. The pontoons will let you push a longer flowering cycle since the 730's only come on at lights out. With the pontoons I don't hesitate to run 13/11 on indica dominants from my flip. I've not yet personally pushed that to a 14/10 on either an indica or a sativa just because I fear revegging and the 13/11 has proven benefits over 12/12 without the pontoon.

Cool man I might get one and try it out later in the year......would be neat to do a side by side one with one without on the same strain, same space ect....I am done buying for quite a while I ended up paying separate shipping for all 3 of my lights kinda broke the budget.....I ended up getting one straight from Indagro and two others from retailers who sold them slightly cheaper than straight from the source somehow.

Yeah IG protects their dealer network by maintaining online MSRP. If you have special needs or quantity requirements you should contact them directly. To my knowledge no dealers stock anything anyway they just shave off points for on-line business.

My understanding is that this is the vertical design that was submitted for UL and CUL approval about 6 months ago. This design was driven by one east coast customer who will be needing 25K of these lights for agricultural production on 36" center panels. Really a perfect fit for that application.



As you can see the design allows for the lights to be daisy chained by a simple C clip connection between the lights. The side panels protect the lamp from damage and the reflectors distribute 300 degrees of area coverage.

There are so many people running vertical setups. Specially lower plant count undercurrent/dwc systems that are pumping wattage like it ain't no thing. There was/is definitely a need for vertical high efficiency lighting.

Just invested in the 420/pontoon combo yesterday and it is on the way. I got cold feet about LED and looking to sell my 325w light. Anyway, gonna post up my setup and strains here soon. Would appreciate advice and comments along the way. I have 6 seedlings started and want to make sure they get a good start before I get my hopes up and start posting!

BTW I called the company and talked to a few folks and they are very friendly and helpful. No long distant calls to China if I have any problems!

Treatment of hempseed with ethylene gas will increase the resulting number of female plants by about 50%. Ethylene is produced by certain plants (i.e., bananas, cucumbers and melons), and these can be used to treat hempseed in a simple manner. About two weeks before you plan to sprout the seeds, place them in a paper bag or envelope and put that in a plastic bag with the peels of a ripening banana or cucumber. Replace the peels after a couple of days, and change the bags to prevent mold.

I currently get 50% fems by controlling temps and humidity.

Are you currently treating your seeds with ethylene? Have you tried it against a control stock to see if by doing this process you pick up another 50% or so femstock which puts me at something near 100% all fems?

i recall reading somewhere that cooler germinating temps tends towards females, as that hints that they are popping early in the season; where they will have the most time available to set roots and veg, set bud sites, and be able to make a large quantity of healthy seeds. on the other hand, warmer germinating temps tend towards males as they think they are popping late in the season and will have a shorter time to grow; best to make pollen.

i haven't tested this with a side by side, as i typically just run clones, but every seed i've sprouted in the past turned out female and i germ at about 65F-70F.

It's suposed to double the # of ladies , to near 100%.
I've ran only singles with ethylene.
The old rare seed gets treated , 9 of 10 times they went female.
Then I reverse em with Sts an get my fem S1z.
