There are many papers on environent ,hormone an genetic sex determination in hemp.

I'm always reading them, but some are hard to follow.

I read UV treatment of pollen also increased fem rates?

That is awesome. What a way to really know what the male is contributing.

There is a product form dutch master called reverse and it is supposed to stop hermies. Like the opposite of colloidal silver and STS. I believe STS/CS only works for making females go male.

Guys got some seedling off to a descent start. Got the tap roots poking out of the grow plug, are they ready for transfer to the hydro garden? If not how long should I wait? Also it that RH Ok to grow, seems low to me.

If you want to talk about genetic bottlenecking, SK1 is a classic case. The best line that I got from Sam, was pretty bloody good. I would say that that was his crowning achievement. I separated 2 lines from the best single parent mating, and kept them appart. One line had Red labels and the other Blue. I kept doing single parent matings using the above mentioned tek. The plan was to put them back together and then give them out. I'm sure that SB has used these wisely.

Seedling are just over a week old. Loving that IG 420 with pontoons! (Thank you Darryl and IG). What do you guys/Gals think of my low RH. Is this a problem for growing later on?

Please can some of you experts comment on the low RH? It is always in the 20's. Freaking out kinda because I am near Tacoma and the outside RH is usually 80+. I was worried about high RH but in reality my house is dry as shit! Do I need to increase the RH???? Please advise

PS Just want to comment on the Indigro 420 lights. These things are the real deal man, I can just tell my ladies are gonna love this light. It is kicking out more heat than my Lumigrow 325 was but nothing near what a 600w would be putting out. I feel I made a great investment on the IG.

Will keep posting and keeping you folks updated on my first grow.

^ I would...20% is low......I would think you want it up around 40% or so, everyone is slight different. Mites love reduced humidity and your plants will probably drink too fast or it will it evap to quickly for some roots to get at.....

Im in the 503 and keep mine around 50-55% and humidity is probably high as shit right now[[in terms of outdoor ambient RH], but it is 7 F right now, so it is "warm" here!
