I'm trying to get an idea of what it cost per pound to grow indoor on on commercial scale.
I've asked a number of indoor commercial growers in California what their cost per pound for production is. The most common number they come back with his $275 per pound.
This sounds ridiculously low to me?
Are they only quoting their electricity consumption costs?
It just gets my BS meter up, for example in California you pay trimmers $150-$200 to trim a pound of outdoor cannabis. I assume you need to trim indoor weed as well! You see where I'm going with this.
When you amortize in your warehouse rent, labor, equipment capitalization, transportation along with power consumption. I would think the cost per pound would be somewhere in the neighborhood of $1000 per pound?
