the chameleon lights normally run around 2300 after taxes and what not but i was given it by a friend unused to see how well they work...
I hear its the newest lates and gratest shit that nasa is using but hell if i know lol
its my first grow so i have now clue if its better or worse.. i will try posting a thread in the light section

LOL,,, Hi.
Sorta set up I guess. Works.
First few days I got scared because it looked as though nothing was happening, then off they'd grow.
My confidence is low on it and assume it's simply the olde school of can't see it / must be weak type thing. Do find myself getting over it and confidence is growing.
Running the 180 Blackstar about 12" over and seems about right so far.
Being a flower model and being in veg. I've added a pair of CFLs (20 w) in a Y splitter, on center. Not sure, but seems the added CFL blue would be a good thing for a flower light doing veg? Anyways, growth is good. Actually perhaps better than the HPS was/is.
Waiting on the sidelines is a 70 watt HPS for low lighting in flower if needed later.

Okay, final,,, maybe running the same wattage (not) but I'm saving on additional cooling something fierce! Temps are great (in comparison), and growth? I'm very pleased so far with what I see.
Plants already in veg for another week, then the flip. That's where I hope to see the LED shine-on (pun intended - LOL)
I may need to redesign my grow room to better utilize this to the potential I'm thinking I'm seeing :weed:

yeah the lights are on one side.... the light i have can produce enough light for a 4x4 but all the plants gotta be the same height. i have a 3x3 tray but my plants have filled out a 4x4 area. I think my set up would have been perfect if i had gotten my plants as seedlings, the previous father let them veg for two weeks too long and when i topped them they were already to lanky they stretched about a foot too tall.

just peeped them ... i don't have any experience with any LED lights other then what Im running which i find to work well but one thing i would point out about the company you just mentioned when i was reading their site is that their 3rd Generation Lights notably the 300W Panel they advertise says in the specs in uses a 100watts and replaces a 500w HPS ... that information right there would throw up red flags in my personal opinion and i would rather shell out the money for a solid unit that has some history behind it before trying out these guys panels... just my thought though.... you can gather more information probably in the LED Users UNITE thread or starting your own ... good luck

Flushing all the plants today and making sure the whole system is spotless and sanitized insuring there are no bugs floating around or dead in the hydroton..Im then gonna do a lil cloning from the lower branches after that its going to be time for them to start the transitional phase into flowering...

Im gonna be using:

7.5ml of ProGrow per Gallon
7.5ml of ProBloom per Gallon
10ml Liquid Karma per Gallon
10ml Sweet RAW per Gallon
5ml Hydroplex per Gallon

Only filling my reservoir with 10 gallons of water and adding 1 fl oz of gognats to prevent any comeback of critters.
Running this for about 10 days then switching to full flower.

Whoop Whoop Im Stoked :)

L.E.D s are great for the veg part of the grow but when it comes to good solid nugs then u need the power of H.P.S

thanks ras.... anyways here are some pics before during and after flushing and cleaning yesterday... took forever to make sure it was spotless lotsa of water to play with lol .... but at the end of the day i completed everything i set out to do ...

Ready to see what the flowers bring :)

Looks cool no heat is awesome. Wonder how much you yield off each plant. I saw a thread earlyer today the guy did a scrog and almost got 10 ounces off one plant insane!

stoney-shit is looking good man!! i cant wait till this weekend when i throw my GDP in the aeroflo under my LEDs..gonna be a good one..just harvested some gdp last week under LEDs, and the trich production was nuts!! just need to work on the yield this next time around.

damn thats a pretty good haul of one girl ... only time will tell what i will yield im confident that i will be able to get good production with how easy it easy to maneuver the plants around as well as the lights themselves so we shall see stay tuned lol
