As a noob, would this mixed with roots organics be sufficient for all nutrients? Just water only?

Yes. But having said that, I think Subcool was also adding something else, but I never understood why. If you reach out to him on his site maybe he'll answer. I would go with the charge pack for now mixed with Roots soil. The charge pack probably comes with instructions.

I don't know if you know, but the world lost subcool on Saturday. The stress of divorce, the forest fire robbing 95% of his work, and his health issue was too much to go through.

It was the illness that did him in. It's winter and as a result of his illness he couldn't tolerate cold temps. Even living in Arizona he was still too cold. What he said was, the cold makes him shiver and that shivering would stop him from being able to breathe. Trying to live in the RV wasn't going to work as it was too cold. The divorce was unpleasant, the fire too, but those things didn't work to make him pass on. It was only the lung illness that did it. He last stated he had only 27% lung function after medical testing. His immune system was destroying his lungs, kind of like it destroys nerves in people that have multiple sclerosis. The body eats itself, so to speak. Cancer works in a similar way. All of the drug and alcohol use didn't help any. He couldn't do drugs in moderation, which is why he grew in the first place. He always had to have it around. I'm wondering how he was found and who discovered him.

Yeah and in Flagstaff Arizona alone winter temps can "peak?" -30F. I understand the illness was final nail, but fighting an illness with that kind of stress over a person's head is nearly impossible already. I listened to a podcast (I think growcast interviewed him) he was on in the past year and am glad to have heard some knowledge from him. He was even supposed to be another guest in May :'(.

No arguments with you either, just wanted to justify the difficulty he had around the illness already and also to not get anyone's hopes up here about contacting him with a question for help.

Also the podcast *could have* been the tad hussey kisorganics podcast, but I'm pretty sure growcast (if you try to look it up unless you've heard it since it sounds like you followed subcool well)
