I used stranded (12 gauge speaker wire) on my first builds and it was a major pain in the ass trimming it to fit. I tried thermostat wire that I had lying around and it didn't work, the holder wouldn't grab the wire. I then bought 16 gauge speaker wire for the next build and the bjb holder wouldn't grab on to that either. So out of 4 different kinds of wire the 14-2 romex worked the best. I think 16 gauge solid would be ideal but that seems to be as rare as unicorn farts.

on citizen the anode is the temp measurement point. unless youre into soldering thermocouples its pretty involved

Reguarding thermal pads,do us a favor and contact these guys when those "other" pads run out.these are the bees knees,gg turned me on to them :)

Yes.5mm thick more durable.and the stickers come off more easy so you dont have to destroy the pad tryingto remove the damn stickerz lol.if your interested i can give you my contact guy,he was super easy to work with on my small order of 100.im sure he would love to have your business and im telling ya your customers will love using this type of pad.when i ordered all those pads from you i had to stay away from this site for a few days until i cooled down,i was super frustrated with the pads you sent me lol.still have all but the 3 i ruined if ya want em back hahaha.
