i posted all kinds of pics of what i got on the 1st page, also check out the links i just posted a few post ago tons of great info on them, one even showing leds beating a HPS with less watts and less heat in flowering. the day has come my friend. that is the best side x side you will see, dude is very pro with his work. heres the link again. i would recommend you read the whole thread tons of great info on his journal you could learn a lot from it, trust me every one can no matter what skill level they are.

Thanks Irish Boy, very intriguing, the technology is still a bit expensive, but I do love spending money on grow supplies and vaporizers. Damn. Less power, less heat, more stealth, damn. So, as someone who knows the LED market. What would you say is the best value out there? Not cheapest, but best bang for the buck maybe?

I have been using two 15 watt LED's that fit in a standard light socket as supplemental lighting in both veg and flowering to complement MH, HPS, and CFL's for approx. 1 year. They are my go to and I have always been surprised in what they would do in conjunction with other lighting. Seem to really help and work play well with others. LED exclusive growing, is intriguing but it seems in my nature to want to throw in a 150watt HPS in flowering or something. Maybe a possible scenario where i upgrade my flowering room size and keep my 400watt HPS and add maybe an additional 400 to 600 watt's in LED, surrounding a HPS core. Ah, sounds nice. Dreams really can come true.

ill put it like this bro if i didnt think they were the best they wouldnt be in my room i wouldn't use any other leds but the ones i have.

i haven't seen these lights combined with HPS yet that would be very interesting.
by the way i wouldn't waist my time with a 150w hps, 400w+ for hps. all ive used before was a 1000w hps, until i found these lights. i gave my needy buddy my HPS light because it wasn't getting any use, these leds just work for my needs. ive never smoke bud like led bud, its amazing!! that 600w led grow i did on here was such killer weed i couldn't even tell you. straight fire. perfect 10 in my book. they are pricey though thats for sure. good thing i have a whole closet full of leds from all the led company's i have tested in the past.lol. i dont use them because i like these ones much better. all lights i use are donated for my grows. IDK bro company's just keep sending me free lights to show you guys.lol. i turn allot of them down now because i wasted allot of time with some of the past company's with their false claims. as i was about to give up on leds and fire up my 1000w hps mike from GLH told me he wanted me to do a grow with his lights and i aid no i will pass, then he told me if i wasn't happy i could keep the light ans sale it for the money, so i said ok.lol. used it and feel in love with these lights, ever since then he send me the different models ie. 600w, 300w,180w to show you guys. down to the 300w and 180w now with these 2 grows. ive used the 300w before and know they rock things out, never used the 180's before but seen some bad ass plants with them from other growers.

Really beting a hps or hid?Never showed the lighting and when he did it was metal halide...
And that was the only picture i saw with him mentioning bulbs.Can you show me where a hps is lit in that thread?orange spectrum not the blue/white spectrum....

its lit every where even in videos. i dont think you went threw the whole thread because theirs tons of pics showing the hps light. theirs even videos he posted of it on the thread. he used MH for veg and HPS for flowering, just look threw the whole thread. i litery took 2min and found pics bro

no problem bro, sorry if i came off like a dick, i was getting into it at another place with some HPS grower because of the same thing. expect with his post he was starting a fight, and it was because he did want to go threw the thread but wanted me to go threw and show the proof, witch a 100+ page thread is not fun to go threw after i already read every post before.lol. and right after that i seen ur post.lol. my apologies i took it the wrong way. much respect brother. you should really read that thread and my 1080w grow thread, tons of info on their not even about leds but growing. these guys on here are very smart.

you will be very happy reading both of those threads thats for sure. you are about to save some money now. you will see what i mean when u read into both grows more and see what was used as food. theirs just packed with great growing info and tips and ways to save big money.

on that 1080w grow link of mine i posted is real good reads for sure. i made sure to have it packed with info from the start of that thread. you will also find out why that grow truly was amazing from all the things that those plants went threw. please once you get threw reading it post your thoughts so others will know how much info it really has. i cant stress it enough! we have been suckered in so many ways by nutes/plant food from the hydro stores. it will talk all about growing condition's and every thing.

I was checking out the 600 led grow just skimming thru it im impressed and yeah you quite are the led celebrity.When people say led they mention your name and how well you grew them.

With the 600w led light i pulled 19oz from 4 plants just using the GH flora series aka Lucas formula and my 1st time with these leds. on my 1080w things were not so easy because of the 100F+ temps the whole grow, and the salts issues using the GH maxi Bloom, and the spider mites and the sativa that would flower for the longest time, ect... It wasnt fun and really hurt my yields. i had 6 plants on that grow and got like 487.5 grams witch wasnt as good as my 600w grow because i had 6 plants on that one and my 600w grow was 4 plants. but it was good because of all the issues. i also had to toss almost 1/2 of my harvest because of some buds going Hermi from the stress thats not counting the 487.5g its was more but i did count that bud.

i am hoping to top things this grow. the Casey jones grow has me a little worried because i think the medium will hold me back, i am trying a 50% soil mixed with 50% coco but i am not liking it too much, i like SunShine#4 allot more. i am really doing that grow to test out the 180w lights and the dynamite red ferts. i think this DM red will change growing for allot of people because it did kick ass on my 1080w grow with the 2 plants that had it. only time will tell.

I emailed growledhydro about the 300 watt LED's. Been looking forward to some experimenting with LED. Figured i would start with that, see how i liked it. Maybe move to an all LED setup at some point down the road.

Yeah the size of the nugs under 600watt led by you was amazing, it is my solution to hot summer growing too. I do it with 400HPS and a 425CFM+ fan, but had to leave on the central air some days, these would minimize that. I'll keep you informed.

in the summer it will help, dont get me wrong these leds put out some heat because they are high power ones, but its different heat. see its not all about the room temps that heat stress ur plants, its the Radiant heat (IR) the HID throws down on ur plants that gives you heat stress. Since leds have hardly any IR throwing down on ur plants they can deal with allot more higher temps. also now you dont have to run ducting all over to air cool ur HID hood, just a exhaust fan sitting in the corner of ur room hooked to a filter. this is why i got into leds because Heat is a big issue for me also real big time 110F+ in the summer. i would recommend breaking the led glass out to get more intense light just like taking the glass out of ur HID hood. it will also make the light run cooler. the owner will still give you the 5 year warranty even if the glass is out. the owner is a very cool guy and takes care of his customers, he also gives 120 DAY MONEY BACK GUARANTEE. http://www.growledhydro.com/returnsandwarranty.html

I know I wouldn't believe it if I hadn't seen it all from start to finish... it's really only been this last generation of lights that can put out real buds... I'm sure a lot of people remember all those 90watt beating 400 HPS claims. Mike is the only one I know that's never done that.

There are a lot of similarities with CMH and LED - less radiant heat and better spectrum definitely makes more potent buds IMHO.

Everyone OB1 is a very respected guy/grower. he was a MOD at a different place ans has seen a ton of grows with these lights, feel free to ask him about the Grows or the side x side that was done if you want.
CMH or led all day over HPS spectrum. i still want to see a CMH grow thats not vert and see how that turns out. i cant wait until leds go vert! then we can get Setting Sun to do a side x side and show us the results?
