PHOTO TIME!! Here are my girls. all doing great! not one bit of trouble! i now have trichomes appearing on both top dawgs. although in miniscule amounts on the big top dawg. my lil top dawg is getting nicely frosty. wish i had a nicer camera though! soooon.. and also i'm starting to get trichomes on my cheese autos. everything's coming up milhouse! i do have some bad-ish news. on my smallest cheese auto, the main cola got chopped right off and crushed during the freakiest of accidents! not to worry though! the other buds have taken it upon themselves to grow like mad now! and on the good news front one of my autos has become enormous! which i think is fairly UNREAL! :p and the biggest bestest news so far! One of my clones of lil top dawg, using my ghetto cloning technique of not using any rooting hormone or heat pad OR humidity dome has survived and ROOTED!!!!!! 8D anyway, onto the pictures..

did you use honey as rooting agent? or simply stick the cutting in soil?

well done by the way, looking good and on your way for some nice bud..

i just cut it, and stuck it in fresh soil. kept it damp (except the last week where i totally forgot to water it) kept it on top of the 125w cfl reflector some of the time with a cut up 2 litre botte over it as a makeshift humidity dome, although again for the last 2 weeks they weren't being used... so happy

so now you got one fixture in, some diy done, plants are at a decent stage of growth as in smell trich`s etc, whats next for you cloudy?

are you planning more cfl`s or an upgrade to a hps? either way your on your way up for here so its all gravy...;)

dunno man! but i'll prob stick with cfl's for 2 or so months before i'll be able to afford a hps system. Until then i'll definitely be making more light fixtures, improving on that design! :D and the plants smell lovely! one of the buds smells peppery yet another bud on the same plant smells like tropical fruit! it's awesome!

You know another way to grow full spectrum instead of buying digital ballasts, you could buy a hps magnetic, and instal a switch to turn the hps ignitor on and off. then you can simply use a normal mh in your hps system. the ignitor burns the mh bulb out really fast. mags are usually much cheaper to obtain than digitals.

plus mags last longer. i have a shitload of digitals, and once they are gone im going back to mags.

i like the switches. it makes the ballasts have a star trek feel. the 25 it costs me for switches is worth it

when i was looking them up i actually liked the idea of magnetic over digital. it'll definitely be put into consideration!

I add switches, plug and play plugs on my mogul cords. i find the 30$ it costs to convert a hps to a switchable well worth it. plus a roomfull of digis are loud from the fans. lol the hum from the mags is way quieter.

lol sidenote, i got some kush from a in city source. it tasted like gasoline. it was fuckin nasty. i wouldnt ever put product like that horse shit out. i cant beleive people pay for shit like that. yuk... i dont see why someone would want anything to do with chemmies. and i dont understand why growers dont properly flush plants.

Time is money for some jokers Hound ... being able to chop without flush or proper dry/cure leaves some weight and some extra change for the grower. However nasty for the smoker ...

I`d buy once and flag that grower/dealer in the future, just not good practice, we (the informed) all know it. Stay true!

Lol those guys allways shit their pants when they buy off my middleman. word goes thru that town like wildfire my shits out. Im always amazed when i see trash like this in areas i grow in. usually i will have starved out the competition after my first harvest.

That fucker must be real desperate. i can find the time to grow organic no problem, and i garentee i have over 10x the plants of the next biggest grow out here. whoever grew this bushschwagg must be one of those fucking hillbiles groing in the mountains with miraclekill...

hey kc you should scope out gaia greens power bloom. i love the shit. only available to us canuks.

I would love to meet a grower that believes thier time is so valuble they cant afford the time to stop adding thier filthy neon blue chemmies and just give a plant water in the last week.they would recieve a hash bitch slapping and id ask em wtf is wrong with them. they are wasting thier expensive 140$ a jug shit making thier dope gross. fucking idiots. if their time is so valuble, why the fuck arent they lecturing on what amazing botanists they want to be... lol they must think they are gods of growing if they dont have to flush.

You dont have to flush organics but i do. i actually give power bloom day 7 and day 35ish. and thats it. only water other than that. (b vit and myco but that aint ferts)...

I know a few OG growers who don`t flush, and it doesn`t seem to make a difference in their smoke quality. Everyone finds their method that works (and some that don`t). Checked out the Gaia, I`m a Pro-Mix and supplement myself kind of guy, worked my mix for a few years and I`m happy with it now. Always hesitant to change ... if it ain`t broke right. I like a 7-9 day flush usually myself, the first 5 days of which still get finishers, and the last water is straight distilled. Again, found the sweet spot for what I need there, to each his own I guess, results all around,
