And on another extra note! i just put three of my royal dwarf autos in to germinate. they'll get there own journal. and it will be the last grow i'll be doing with autos and cfl for a long time, due to the fact i'll be upgrading to a hps system growing clones and what not.

we will all translocate to the new thread of course, only thing wrong with this one is that you named it Irish Mans FIRST grow. HPS or MH is the way to go Cloudy although just now I'm having a wee bit of bother with my set up keeping temps steady. Will be interesting to see what strains you decide on.

yeah AE got a extractor and filter fitted in the closet recently, works great with the door sealed while I'm using my 250W metal halide, but when I put in the 400W HPS temps go up into the high 80s or low 90s, thinking of introducing a cool air intake from the attic to cool things down a bit or maybe some other thing I havnt thought of yet. But also thinking why not just keep it a 250w grow, if I get enough from that then whats the point introducing complications apart from the technical boffin in us all trying to always improve things ?

better nugs from the plant, not only does a 400w improve yeild but you get a more dense bud from them, well thats the theroy bilbo, there are strains and phenos that stretch and give you airy buds no matter what ....

if you can draw from the attic, and your house is like mine, the air up there is always cool, be an idea alright, for now you could toss in a bucket of ice, or like most of us crack the door slightly, thats if you can like..

could do that, was thinking of freezing up some 2 litre coke bottles full of water and putting then into the shelf on the top of the closet, see how that would work

What was wrong with calling it my first grow? It was? For both the top dawg and auto cheese and well the plant in general..? Hence why the royal dwarf will get its own. Cos itll be the first that isn't a first.. 8p

Mandala strains can handle up to 100 without co2. i have had great sucsess growing weed around 92 with co2. i find thats the best with what i usually grow.

either look to some hybrid landrace strains, add co2, or both.

ace seeds, mandala, world of seeds. they are the top 3 landrace breeders. im looking at wos ketama right now. And ive heard alot about ace.

i really enjoy mandala tho. their stuff is solid

np cloudy mate, some folk I see like a new thread for every grow, some like a single thread that goes on from grow to grow for years. all I meant was that if fo.r instance you had originally named it '' Irish Mans Grow '' then it could have just continued on from grow to grow. Actually, when I think about it its more user friendly to give them a thread of their own eg Cloudys Cheesy Grow or something similar

Perpetual grow journals would be lame. besides, look how far this threads come. 46 pages. who would have thought. i was just reading the op yesterday. nostalgic.

i look forward to cloudys next thread. and once i setup a internet connection, im goin to look into possibly putting my personal grows journal up. i cant seem to post any pics from my phone.

now that i completely understand and in just reading your last post i had wished i did cal it "irish mans grow" but i was a noob. had no clue how i was going to go about it in the future... but i created it with that name mainly to attract the attention (hopefully) of experienced growers to help me with the roadblocks i'd encounter. which i did. and, in the early days, you and kushhound both did! and to which i am eternally grateful! and in the first few weeks, we all saw that my plants grew a little weirdly.. but you guys instilled the fact that this forum is unreal.. when this grow is done, this thread will be done. and i will look back on it as my learning experience. i will either start a thread dedicated to my autos, and written in a way that new growers can learn from and another of photoperiod. or one united thread for everything i grow. to which i am excited to start! :) again bilbo, kushhound, KC, ae86, stoneslacker and all others that greatly advised me over my first few months. i can't thank you enough, for the support and encouragement you have given me! :) :D
