Im a starting this thread as i plan on doing some gorrila growing just to have a little something on the side without to much effort! So what are the best times times to start planting, what strains hold up good outside in our weather, does outdoor grows yield good in ireland and what are good places to keep your plants hidden outdoors?

im growin in ireland 2 man. the first grow i did was a lowryder #2 - early in the year. and had to translant it outside cuz of the REDICULUS smell. the thing was in my bedroom and i could smell it in the frekin kitchen! yeh, so it went out in march, and is flowering atm, lookin really beefy and tha buds are frosty.

the grow im doin now is guerrilla's gusto. im documenting it (just started) so u can take a look :p

hi there ... rox is a great strain for outdoor english/irish weather (its all kinda the same :D) due to its very compact bud which bassically makes it water proof :D and therfore mould resistant which is a problem sometimes with the weather over here :D also passion #1 can yeild massive amounts and has one of the highest thc % for an outdoor plant :D

and dr.commie if you havent tried lowryder yet i can guess you know its guna be good from the smell and i can tell u it sure is :D
ive tried #1 and #2 and both grows wer done indoor and wer very very potent also as there an auto flower strain if you have a mother chamber or veg room you can just put them in there under 24 or 18 whateva you do and they will just do there thing :) should imagine will be the same outdoors good luck guys and hope this helps :)

would it be to late to plant an autoflowering feminised lowryder number 2?? please pm me anyone that wouldnt mind!! im living in ireland myself and cant afford an indoor setup atm...

how long do u reckon it has left to mature? that lowryder #2 is my first grow :S

ive never heard of any of those strains u mentioned lol. the guy in the head store said that skunk #1 or superskunk would be great for the weather im in :P but i went with gusto cause ... well.. cause i just always go for the wierd stuff lol that no1 ever tried before :P, and i read on some site that it was a good strain for shite climates :)

oh and dude u can plant LR2's outside any time of the year (they will be shit in the winter though - if it snows they die i think) now is the perfect time , they'll be done by like august ^.^

IRISH outdoor growers helpline funny name, its a bit of a problem growing there alright

im in the uk, so im in the same boat as u, im growing some jock horror(indoor strain just for fun) hashberry and speed queen outdoors this summer... , grow a early flowering, mold resistant strain, u can find ones recomended for northern climates and find a sunny spot for them wit good soil and love and care and ull have some buds in oct, its best to start them indoor first to start them off fast for 2-3 weeks... put out doors middle-end of may during the good weather.. good luck

u can buy em in head stores in dublin for €45 for 5 seeds. i brought that but ended up selling 4 of my seeds, so sry man nufing left :*(

im not in dublin unfortunately... is there anywhere online that sells seeds singly? or if anyone knows a good site that sells the lr2 fem and has them in stock??

Google pic n mix seeds they sell single seeds of nearly everything!

Hey everyone thanks for the your info! ?Dr commie lowryder #2 is good smoke im smokin the few grams i have left of it from my last harvest had to cut a bit early but still potent smoke and i got an right yield off it!

How well did they do outside dan? Do ya not need them on 18/6 do get anysort of decent yield off them? I heard ya only get a few grams off them, i dont think they would be worth the time ya know

Whats up richie i had them inside under 400 and they were on 12/12 cause i had other plants in flower at the time! I got 30 dry grams off two lowryders#2 and one of them could have went another two weeks!

Thats sweet having some auto's in with the longer flowering plants. A bit of puff puff wile your waiting on the mother load!

I must get an ould indoor set up going when i move out, its one of my life goals :mrgreen:

i got a 5 lowryder 2 feminised seeds of seedsman seeds a few weeks ago. they sent 5 skunk haze for free as well. just planted the lows last week and they are popping up now. they are in a green house though. i didnt think they would do to well outdoors here but that one posted above look ok
