IS A PREPETUAL PARTY CUP GROW POSSIBLE..?x

Though I wouldn't do this, you can sustain a mother plant in a party cup. I have thought about using the bonsai technique with a mother plant but decided a separate area is best. If you really wanted to, you could find room for a mother plant. Maybe have your friend hold the mothers while you take care of the flowering?

Also, you can produce bud without nutes if you are using a good potting soil. Your plant will die if you use a soiless mix without nutes though.

Your lights, how many watts?

How big of grow space?

What type of medium are you using?

Ok kulong will do...

You should definetly check out what Kelvins the lights are, and i would use a 3-1 ratio on Veg and Flowering, meaning.. Use 3 5k-6.5k lights and 1 2.7k-3k light. Both spectrums have different qualities that produce different growth patterns. If im not mistaken, veg lighting has the tendency to make it tall and stretchy, while the flower lighting will bush it up a little. I might be wrong, but the spectrums do those things to your plants.

Having someone take care of the mother is a good thing, yet you dont get to see it as much, and you prolly will not beable to keep a mother in a party cup, the root mass alone will explode the cup, if it doesnt it will stunt up and die. You should go 3gal. minimum, which is what im doing, and maybe start a new mother when you are close to getting rid of an older mother due to root mass.

A basic, easy guide that i went to, is try to get 5k lumens per sq ft. optimal, 3.5k per sq ft. minimum, i wouldnt go below that, infact i would try to shoot for 5k minimum per sq ft. Find out how much each bulb produces and look on the internet somewhere for a light calculator to see how much light loss, if any, from the bulb to the bottom. in your case those totes should be good with no light loss since its not very tall.

Flowering you might want to start them small clones like i did, at week 5, these little 2-3 inch clones have grown 15-16 inches! thats a huge jump from when they went in. If you do run into height issues while flowering there is also the break method, not too familiar but i beleive is when u break the top slightly and bend it, but it will still flower. do the research on that.

Hope this helps and Good luck!

sustaining plants without nutes is hard but not impossible, if your looking for a good organic soil that still has good nutes is the roots organic soil ( NOT the formula 707 cuz they skimp out on alot of important nutes in that one. since its their bargain bag)
i have used both FFOF and light warrior and imo both are too hot of a soil to use without mixing in some extra perlite or vermiculite. burned some of my baby clones when i transplanted them into it , and kept gettin burned till they got bigger.
good luck man seems like a great way to keep yourself as high as can be for as cheap as can be =)
and hey people have pulled off some crazier shit.
happy tokin man and happy holidays

Thanks...

I pretty much know alot about the spec and lumens thing i think the 24inch 20w tube light gives out 1k lumen on the blue spec and 1.2k on the red spec way short of 3.5k... But this seems to be the best option i have i will be using twist ties to lst/loop each plant around the rim of the cups as they grow so i can have more tops and periodically supper crop the taller branches to even out the canopy plus get bigger stems

i will sure do... im really planing everything out since the seeds wont be here for another week or so and the grow wont even be at my place so it will be of a guerrilla nature for me...

ive added alot more strains to the list and will be doing a perpetual journal for the grow...

well i hope every thing works out cuz i already dish out $250+ for beans

Seems pretty straight forward to me. You'll need 4 or 5 blocks of plants depending on their flowering time. Personally I think I would skip keeping moms and just use the tops you'll be cutting off to clone with, use both boxes for flowering with no veg but I get wanting to keep mothers for safety. Worst case you can take a block out and reveg them though.

how do u have both boxes for flower and still take cuttings..?

lol, whoops. good point. If you have no more space for a small veg box and only have this space your original plan works fine, I would still probably do something like split one up by just putting an upside down box over half of them to block the light but it would have to be manual and a pain in the ass but that's the kind of guy I am.
