In my opinion cfl/fluorescent weed is not in the same league as hid weed.
I grew some plants out in my veg area under a T5 and it is not even close to as good as the same weed grown under hid. Everything was the same except the light.

All the weed I've grown under T5 has the same spiky texture.
The nugs looks fine, smell fine, taste fine, they just don't do it for me.
