I hear and see of people growing bagseeds saying there awesome, they smell awesome this that and the other, i admit they do look good but from everything ive read and heared off experienced growers aparently its not possible to get good badseed bud because if it produces seeds its been polinated therefor producing less THC..

confusing me someone explain please.. thanks

These are purely my thoughts.

I have seeded my plants for various reasons in the past, it did not change the potency one bit.

Assuming that it does change the thc level of the mother, why would this effect the offspring?

Think about it from a different perspective. Bagseed is a seed, in a bag. All seeds come from a seeded plant. This theory would suggest that ALL seeds cannot be good, because a mother was pollinated to produce it. Just because it's "bagseed", or in a breeders bag, they are all seeds that came from a mother. so are you suggesting that it is not possible to get good seeds?

It is for other reasons that you are often advised not to grow bagseed, but they are reasons mostly aimed around the grower who can't afford to have a non-keeper, aka a small grower where every plant counts.

Mainly, you know nothing of the genetics. It could very well be seeded bud because it was seeded by itself, or a hugely unstable hermaphrodite, or anything undesirable. Great things can come from bagseed, but to counter that, great disappointment can also be a possibility.

But yes, ALL seeds can be argued as bagseed. Bagseed simply get's used to describe seeds you've found in a bag of weed you've bought. But if you grew the weed, it's suddenly just seeds, not bagseeds. silly.

I have had some good bagseed in the past but it is a long process to find out it will be shit genetics so safer buying good genetics, it really is the key.
