is it normal to have a few leaves a weeks turn yellow with black spots ? my plants are super healthy from what i can see, they get there feeding once a week every 2nd or 3rd watering so i no its not a nitrogen diff and i know its not to much nutes because the nutes are 3/4 strength, just wondering if anyone else has this happen

can you put a picture up? what kind of soil do you have them in, is it in hydro? are you giving them any cal/mg what are your temps like? how high is your run off ppm

i dont have a ppm tester and its in normal topsoil with aquarium rocks for perlite temps are 72, 55-65%humid i water with 6.2-6.6ph. and heres a pic theres 3 different plants

BTW - your pics look like you're way over nute-ing them. Flush them with PH'd water and cut back on your nutes.

perlite is perlite man, i used what i have this is my first grow and i thought that might have been the case i havent givin them any in about 1 1/2 weeks.

dont flush if your using MG soil. or any with nutes in it.

Call me ignorant because I don't grow in soil anymore, what is "MG soil"? TY!

EDIT: Please don't f-ing tell me you mean Miracle Grow soil!!! Who the f*ck is using Miracle Grow to grow ganja?!?!! Shoot that person!!

i'm just using normal topsoil, i'm using mg nutes though 12-4-8 but i deluted it but i have stoped feeding them and perlite is just something to make the soil more air'y and these seem to be working fine and seeing as you dont even really need perlite i dont see the issue

Where are you using aquarium rocks, now I'm confused?!?! If you're using them as a substitute for perlite in ANY capacity you will fail. And perlite helps with better water retention, not "making the soil more airy". You need to do some more research, son.

where i'm from east coast of canada pot grows awesome just in are top soil planted straight into the ground with no perlite so i just mixed some into my soil either way my question was i think answered i'll back of on the nutes for a bit and see what happeneds! thanks!

Regardless dude, do yourself a favor and do some more research and LEARN!! No offense but if you think perlite makes the soil more airy you have a lot to learn. Don't take it personal, just better yourself. Good luck anyway with your grow, I wish you no ill will.

John, let me give you a good piece of advice so you dont have to learn the hard way. Before you take advice from anyone (ESPECIALLY People that havent been here long), take the time to go back and look their other posts, see if they seem knowledgeable. If they have good questions and answers. Look at their grows. DONT JUST TAKE SOMEONES ADVICE because they are willing to give it. You will end up messing something up or kill your plants all together.

LOL, if you mean me, then yes I have not been here on RIU that long. This does not mean I have just started growing yesterday. Been around the block now and again, son. Also, if you feel perlite is made to "make the soil more airy" and my advice was somehow not sound, than you're a complete f*cking idiot who has never grown in his life. Other than that everything else you said is spot on.

I love how people assume just because you have been on RIU for long you're somehow dumb. As if any a$shole couldn't just post anything they want, regardless of their background. Or as if RIU is the only MJ grow forum on the entire web!!

You just proved my point. Have a nice day.....

That you're stupid? Thanks. Continue believing perlite makes the soil more airy, I'm gonna laugh at you.

Please go ahead and click on my profile, go through all my posts and tell me one time I ever gave unsound advice. I'll wait. Sorry I'm not on RIU as much as you, I kinda have a life.

EDIT: I don't want to fight!! Who cares!! Mr. Outdoors you are 100% right on one thing, I have never grown outdoors so I am ignorant on that aspect!! I was strictly referring to the perlite thing.

Just so we are clear on this, I know gravel is not perlite.... Show me where I have ever said or insinuated that. Infact never said anything about you.... YOU my friend are the one who is quick to assume fly off the handle and start throwing insults... BTW I have grown some really nice plants outdoors using MG. Sorry I need to spell that out for you, Miracle Grow.

I believe I have thrown the surrender flag.
