Is it safe to order seeds shipped the the U.S.

A fellow grower who has always relied on clones is being understandably tempted by the Violator Kush from Barney's Farm.

His concern is that he would have to ship to the same address of his grow (U.S.).

I have used Attitude twice with no problems. Used real name, shipped to grow address, used my credit card.

As I understand it the worst case scenario is they get seized and you get a letter instead of beans.

His question is:has anyone ever heard of someone's grow getting busted from ordering seeds?

I know this has been discussed many times, and I apologize. The search is difficult here!

I've ordered 5 times to Home add, over a couple years. No problem,.. & I like The Attitude. But a "clean" add would make sleeping at night better.

I don't have anything sent to where I grow. He has to know someone who doesn't grow that will let him have them shipped there. You can never be to safe!!!!!!!!

He is fairly new to the area. Sometimes growers can get a little isolated. I really don't hang with anybody who does not smoke, and nobody that wants seeds sent to their house.

Let's get some more feedback or they will be coming to my grow!! don't really need the worries here.

the real answer no one likes is no its not safe ,its not legal,and anyone who orders seeds take a risk every time,sorry its the truth ...BTW i got my seeds just the other day orange bud and 5 free super silver haze...for me it was worth the risk oh hell yea i love this country!!!

thing is, deniability is key which is why people say ship to an addy that's not the grow site. Because you can deny ever having anything to do with anything. Which is partially the reason they don't knock on EVERY SINGLE door of a person who attempts to get in contraband. Thing is with a prepaid credit card with some fake name being sent to you.. you can totally deny even ordered anything. however if somebody comes with the note asking to search your residence and its the grow site your in big shit.

however if you don't have anything other than a setup.. you can easily let them know you like to grow veggies in your home.. without a trace of THC in your house what can they possibly say? umm well umm you were going to do something! Intent is not against the law, Actually carrying out the "crime" is.

In a nutshell if you have nothing in your house and you order seeds.. you shouldn't have to much to sweat. Also living in a state which has decrimilization of weed also works in your favor. These states won't even arrest you and charge you unless you have over 100 grams or more.

No really if he is not growing at the present time he could give it a go the worst that can happen is he'll get a letter telling him they have been seized and if he wants his package to contact them (NO don't contact them )

I bought from the attitude with no problem, shipped it to USA. I used my real name, growing address, and debit card. I would save up enough money to order more than just one seed type cus every time you place a order there is
another chance it could be caught. My package did not get caught and I got about 5 different types of plants.

even if those post are legit, which only one of them does,

we're talking big operations here. 19 plants is a felony.. growing that many plants is rolling dice.

so even if police came to your house with a warrant and said open up. 10 seeds and 1 plant later they wasted thousands just to slap you with a civil citation and maybe some community service. I did 4 days in jail for a friggin traffic ticket.. a friend of mine got busted with half an ounce and only got a 150 fine and some community service.

keysmachine, I hadn't read all the way through the "busted in indiana" thread, I just stumbled across it while looking for the other one. I haven't finished reading it all yet, but I think there is a pretty high probability that it's bullshit.

The other one technically wasn't busted for seeds. The seeds got the cops to their house. Letting the cops inspect their grow room is what got them busted. No warrant, no reason for the cops to be in your house. Simple as that.

I just read through the "busted in indiana" thread. Your right keys, it's bullshit.

Lots of scary stuff here...Please keep the info coming. I am going to e-mail my grow buddy and let him know what the consensus is so far.

Any other know instances of repercussions beyond the customs seizure letter in states other than the police state of Indiana.

I know another member who lives in the Bay Area and they came through SFO. My first order came through NY and the second I received the order before anything was posted by the USPS. Where I live one might think they would come through LAX.

I ordered mine with my CC but not to my grow address, Once the system is in place (We voted MEDI MJ in) I will be getting my medical card, but technically even with that ,the feds dont give a fuck , because their laws govern over state laws. I did find an unrented house awhile back, got the add, and had shit sent there without anyones knowledge. I picked it up 10 minutes after the mailman dropped it off, no problem.
