Not true, moldy weed is an excellent product to induce lung infections into your friends and family.

I totally disagree....
Micro wave it.... on 30% for 5-6 minutes
First break it down, Mold on surface not inside?
the nuke it...
Then look under scope... we are having fun with it now....
Shrink wrap it, into 4/8 g wraps
Give it away for christmas...
Really spreading the cheer....
Tell everyone that the new strain is possibly moldy...
Then feel good about it...
People will take it off your hands...
See, not use less....

Its pretty much not usable. I would pissed if some ass gave me moldy weed after microwaving it. First the smell is gonna be weed, microwave wont kill all the mold bacteria so you can thank them for the lung infection and asthma you might get.

A microwave would hardly have any effect of the toxins left behind by mold. It's not as simple as just killing an organism.

Powdery mildew can be removed from harvested buds. You will lose a little bit of the trichomes in the process. Jorge Cervantes youtube video showing process:

I tried this method and it was successful. We ran all of the dried buds through a sieve as the buds didn't look the best after this. Smokes fine.

This. I had some really moldy buds once and made bubble hash with it, it was fine and no sickness. Im sure you could do any of the above with no ill effect. As long as its for personal use no harm no foul.

And really who wants too put in all that work and time and just throw it away without even trying too salvage something.

Seen this talk in bho sections often. The short and sweet consensus was this: Yes you can make Bho, and the like but the extraction and winterizing and etc needs to be done and done right, if you search you could find your answer.

As far as my knowledge goes,
Making oil with the mold affected weed using Alcohol will kill the organism causing the mold. But the organisms also contain some toxins which might get extracted along with the THC&CBD in the weed. I make oil out of mine even if it has mold. Not healthy, still I don't want to waste my organic hard worked for weed.

This is only my personal view, not a recommendation.

World is full of toxins, in food, in the air, in the water we drink, wish to keep atleast what I smoke clean.

To avoid mold, use rooms/containers which are sterile(free from the mold). You can achieve this in lots of ways.

Smoke safe!
