cheese is the fucking shit!!! we get that often round here just fucking exspensive. if havent had it before ima tell you now it is a very unique taste and smell, i doubt youll find anything like it. i was asking in amsterdam for it, the one shop that had it was sold out when i asked for a similar strain he just said its pretty unique, try some algeria (think thats how its spelt), but that was just some nice smelly skunk lol.

thanks for passing by stonegrove,
i see cheese aa a sellers bud. U just say the name people want it. im not a seller im a smoker. ive smked cheese many times & have enjoyed it. the taste & smell is unique, my tolerance to the stone builds up quickly. A friend of mine has grown cheese for a long time in soil & his results are very good, he sells out in a couple of days. if this cheese is anything like that i will enjoy a lot.

I cut the top off 1 of the plants.
I Now feel very angry with myself. I cannot raise my light any further without dismantling the entire wardrobe. Maybe i should of tied the top down but i was stoned, Just got the scissors & chop. Was only abt 1" max that i cut off. jus to keep it away from the light as the top of the plant was growing into the light.
That aside everything seems to be going smoothly. no major signs of nute burn, there at EC 1.5 right now. PH around 5.5
I like the way these plants responded to the increase in Big Bud. All plants are now showing crystals. Hopefully they will be concentrating on bud formation now..

Actually had to top up the res today. I still had about 6l of bloom feed already mixed to EC 1.9 (way too high) so just diluted that to 1.5.
Hopefully they will speed up there intake & development now, as this was the 1st mid week refill i have had to do with this grow.
more pics 2moz.

Week 5...
Bud sites are in abundance all over the 3 plants. Pistils are nicely developed & resin is forming all over the leaves. I thought the worst after cutting an inch of the main stem of 1 of the plants, but it has accelerated growth around the cut...

The leaves are still a nice green & there are not any signs of major nute burn. The 3 main colas are formng nicely, & a few side branches which are as tall as main stems look as if they will hold a nice amount of bud.
The res has been changed

a fresh 20l of ph tap water has been added.
it also included

20ml Mother Earth bloom, 25ml (each) sensi A & B, 80ml Big Bud, 20ml Carboload, 10ml B52, 5ml (each ) Humic & Fulvic acid. This left the EC at 2.0. High yes, these plants have had it too easy up to now. The Ph was abt 6 so i reduced it to 5.0 as i expect it to rise.
The roots of the 3 plants have formed a thick layer on the tray following the spreader mat into the res...

I ensure that these roots in the res rest ontop of the air tube. I believe this helps nutrient uptake, may be wrong.
This is 1 of the side branches as tall as the main cola in the middle plant it sits directly under the HPS & has been burnt badly....
There is only an inch between the glass of the coolshade & the area which has been burnt. I have been moving the branch to try & keep it out the hot spot. Hopefuly it wont get worse. This week i am hoping for an acceleration in bud formation, This is the mid point of flowering for this strain (i think) so things should be speeding up, or am i just been over xcited?
These plants are now getting a lot more attention from me & seem to be responding positively, even when im pruning leaves there is still a noticeable change in the plants, like they dont go into shock. Trying to ease off handling the plants too much but at the same time im trying to keep the canopy as open as poss. until the next update....

Well its 1 full day & the HIgh EC has not (at this point) caused any visable signs of burning.
They have drank a lot overnight so i have decided to top up the res with PH water only.
By the looks of these plants next week may be there 1st dose of overdrive. We will see how things go....
