Is there a difference with plant size and res size?

Just out of curiosity....will there be a difference in the plant grown in a 5 gallon bucket compared to lets say a 25 gallon tote?

I'd expect the bigger one to require less maintenance, it would give more of buffer with high ec and ph issues, it would be more stable.

Edit... But all being equal a smaller one should keep the plants smaller or has done ime using pots.

Hydro, just was curious if the larger res would play a role in plant size as a larger pot for soil would. I assumed easier to maintain. Thanks!
im hoping so too, im on the verge of turning my 33l plastic buckets into dwc res's with a 6 outlet air bubbler pump, 6 airstones

Like I said

I've do e same strain in 3gal and 5gal buckets

Not a huge difference

Now if you veg for 8+ weeks, sure , a 7 gal bucket will grow a tree, but a 5 gal would too

Now in soil, yes it make a big difference for sure
