This pic, this morning this preflower looked just like a ball, but in the last couple hours it has pushed out a hair.

So that is why I am not sure that the ball looking things in this picture are preflowers that havent pushed a hair out yet or is a pollen sac.

It is really new growth though, so I am probably just going to have to wait till tomorrow to look at it again.

Well this is why I grew out a male plant and studied it before chopping it down so I could recognize a male plant in the future better.

The ball on sticks don't only grow in pods but they can also grow just one or two, or a few at each node. If you don't see the sticks they probably aren't nuts. I still haven't killed my male plant yet but I seperated him haha.

However, I think a female will always have 2 symmetrical preflowers per node on each side of the node (so 4 per node actually).

As soon as it becomes apparent that those are balls on sticks.. pluck em right away.. those fukers cum pretty fast

notice i said usually grow in pods, i would have have to agree with anomalies. i think there is a high percentage chance that its a female. i didn't see any sticks either.

Yeah my plants have exactly what you are saying on the node, I am thinking its a female, cause 2 of the what I thought were balls this morning now have hairs poking thru.

not to mention the one for sure male I had, showed sex 3 days ago, and all of the balls it developed were in clusters, and did not look at all like these so called balls I have on the females.

oh, I think a male also shows sex earlier. Mine showed sex a week earlier. Don't quote me on that though.

I even wonder if the ratio really is 50/50 with all the genetic crossing. Out of a recent bagseed grow I got 6/7 females wtf. pretty happy about it too.
