First time grow, 4 bag seeds plants and mystery widow. Wattage=246 6500k over 15,000lumens, also 48in flourscent lampX2bulbs 6500K 32wX2 but it isnt on. Just need some advice and plants are a week old and 3 seedlings. Can i get some really good weed if taken care and I know Male or Hermies. I have a magnifying glass. I really like tending to them. Any info is good. Thanks.

Looks good, I would consider putting something on top of the lights that is reflective, half of your lighting is going up , away from the plants. If nothing else just some flat white or mylar strips over the lights to bouch it back with venting to let the heating rise up.
You should be able to do well with that amount of lighting, as long as you can direct it properly.

looks great. above post is correct, just get some cheap reflective material and cardboard. can make a home made light reflector , also what are you flowering with ? if cfl again. you can get the different color bulbs cheap 5 bucks for 15. 2700k

I really love how you made your light set up.. can you give me some hints as to how one would construct something like that?
Not hard mounted....it is on a piece of 1x 4 wood the width of the closet....I have a fan and dehumidifier on the floor.....I constructed the lamps quite easy....well easy for me....and I have 15 2700k &3000k cfl waiting.....I will have to make a reflective top and I have an attic door up top....leave it open to vent and I just open the door....its stay 80 or 85 in there bitbfan is always on....my first time.... And I have a make shift auto flower mini tent I wanna construct.... It should be awesome..... But I really thank u all....and I have a wicked soil mixture....I'm crazy.... I will put up pics later.... And the one guy on here that wants to construct one...send me your email....peace

80-85 in there is too hot in my opinion.. whats the intake? should be passive and exhaust should vent out of room.. if your using 246w of cfl i would def go with a 250w hps for flowering... same amount of energy with better results...

Yeah....I am in the hottest part of USA.....so it around 98 degrees outside and 89 at night. And this is in a closet. 2ft by 5ft....and an HPs is way more expensive than the 15 dollars it took to make that light set up.....I just wanna get a pound or two that's it.....I smoke don't sell....this is all personal use.....but I have a plan to make a an autoflower cabinet.... Its in my mind....its gonna be sweet. And the height of my closet is 10ft tall....

your not gonna get a pound or two out of a cfl setup.. maybe a couple ounces.. and thats in perfect conditions... your temp is on the hot side... and hps cost more, but your spending more on electric then what your gonna be getting in results. 250w cfl isnt gonna compare to a 250w hps..
