Is this plant a dud?

Hey guys. I'm growing 4 Harlequin strains in my self build RDWC system. Got the seeds from Weedseedexpress. Out of 12 seeds only 5 germinated and they seem to show strange phenotype even at seedling stage. Now they are at week 3 flowering ( after 8 weeks of veg). 3 plants are doing fantastic and ending the stretch soon. However this one plant has been consistently strange since germination. It hasn't shown any signs of stigma since flipping to 12/12. I'm thinking if this plant could be dud? and also if it is caused by some plant virus like TWV or HLVD? If it is , should I remove that plant from my RDWC system in fear of infecting the other 3 plants? Thanks in advance.

Hi! So the good news is that they're not infected and this won't impact any of the others. The bad news is that this type of abnormal growth is caused by a rare mutation; you didn't do anything wrong to cause it, it just happens 1 in ~200 times or so. And yes, it's usually a mutant right from the getgo and it becomes fairly noticeable in late vegetative stage. That plant might not even make buds properly. Not a big deal. Happens; now you can say you've had a mutation anomaly first-hand!
