is this site really safe?

I just saw a post from an old riu member that claims to know the old half owner of riu. but heres what he had to say about riu.....

OMG !! Allow me to save you. rollitup.org is a Narc website. i personaly know the old 1/2 owner who abandon the site after the DEA requested a IP list from its owners and service host. im Kadiyania Meitko and the old admin/owner was Kevin Murphey. I guess the risk is yours to take but... search rollitup and you will find discussion directly relating to what im saying.

this is the first time I've heard about the owner handing IP addresses out to the dea but its kinda got me sketched out. I always heard they have to go through the owner for your IP address but this dudes claiming thats just what happend. I'm gonna have to look more into this I hope its not true.

I'm an rIU member, i'm unhappy, i'm gonna let you in on a secret, i know the now full owner, he is in fact a DEA agent. This whole site is one big honeypot operation. That's why there are no long time members growing weed, they just go arresting everyone the moment they can trace a grow to an IP. Run away, this site is not safe, find a cave, hide in it, i'd also suggest creating a cavein at the entrance. It's the only way to protect yourself.

Seriously dude, either chill the fuck out or get off the internet. Kevin was not an old owner, he was a little bitch is all he was. Wasn't an admin either. I also like that the information comes from someone sharing the same initials. Probably coincidence but heh.

Idk if you deal with that guy on a daily basis but I wouldn't believe much if anything he has to say about RUI. Consider him a disgruntled ex-employee lmao!!! As for whether the site is safe or not, well, that's a different story.

Who's to say anyone is really growing anything, I can say that this is a picture of my backyard down here in Texas, but that doesn't make it true. I don't think they would just look at a few pictures, get the IP and then raid the hell out of your house, they would need more evidence than that.

If you use this site for what it was designed for (Legal Growers) you wont have a problem. People that are dumb enough to post picks of illegal large grows with location services turned on deserve what they get.

I am sure they track the site, they track the pedofiles on the porn sites and bust people all the time doing that shit. If you make yourself a target worthy of the feds coming for you than shame on you. In this case dont hate the game hate the player.

Kevin started out decent and became a bit of a deranged megalomaniac. I've had him and others send me the same warning messages and I should go and mod their site... Most if which go diwn within a few months. There have been dozens of conspiracy threads about this site.... This is old news and we are not so arrogant as to think the DEA wants to get their hands on every one of us bevause we are Pablo Escobar's prophesied reincarnation lol

He was a moderator. That's all.
Moderators have no power over how the site functions technically. All we can do is delete/move/monitor and close posts/threads, And we can only do that in the rooms were mods of.
The next step up is global moderator. They have the same powers but can do it in ANY room. They can also ban/suspend people where as moderators can't.
Then there's the admin.

I personally don't think that the DEA or anyone for that matter, is going to waste the time and resources to go after the little nickle and dime stuff that is on here. I see it as an epic waste of thier time.

We represent only a very tiny fraction of the people they have to deal with. If they were to actually use these sites to try to gain intel, it would end up being an exercise in futility. I for one could care less who sees what is posted here, this is the internet, the only place in existence that allows fiction and reality to become one in the same.

ya for real if anything they want the guys growing over 99 plants. so as long as your not posting a huge grow or sog they shouldn't bother with you even if the dea has access to your IP. so I'm good I don't even get over 50.
