Is This Yellowing Normal During Flowering?

if its at week 5 of budd you would expect to see signs of deffs if you have not fed the soil yet, i would feed it but not every week just maybe a couple of feeds in say week 5 and week 8 then just leave it to finish, you would only water in the last couple of weeks anyway. also many sativas pile on bud weight inn the last few weeks, your plant looks ok just dont poison it with too much nutes.

since when is a deficiency normal?i would rather give the plant what it needs and keep it green and healthy then say the yellowing and dying of leaves is normal.as long as you dont start pumping it full of bloom nutes till week 4-5 of flower and feed it a balanced npk ratio until the stretch is over...you wont have any yellowing
Some ppl I know actually pluck out the leaves during flowering, they say its to expose the buds to more light thus making them fatter. I dont know if thats true but if the plant can take such treatment and still thrive I really dont see any reason for you to be worried over a few yellow leaves.

dont pluck the leaves. Thats a rookie mistake, i did it too. The leaves are like big solar panels and nutrient storage. Dont pluck the leaves. You can delarf it though

Im am ashamed to put these up actually...
This is the first time in a while since I have seen the plant with the light off and you should have seen the aphids on the globe!! I thought they where something else but when i wiped them off with a cloth and looked under the microscope, i found out they were aphids flying on the globe!

Here are the photos... should i chop it now or still wait? Its pretty bad... Im ready to call it a loss... I cant do anything to correct this problem and am pretty sure the aphids are the cause... Cant kill them either

Get spectracide from home depot, and an insecticidal soap. You wont kill them all, but it should kill alot of them off. I believe the spectracide is 8ml a gal and the soap is 10ml gal. you can also get Azamax that will help control them after the other stuff. how many weeks left?

i have sprayed the plant multiple times already with an insecticidal soap... but they keep coming back a week later... not sure how many weeks left, it has not been progressing at all in the last 6 weeks.... could be another 2 months away if it takes 16 weeks to mature from flowering for a sativa.. In this stake i dont think its going to get there...

You need to treat your soil also or they will keep coming back. Spectracide is for roots only, not a foliar. Treat with Spectracide, what size pots?

Also you can use either Tanglefoot, or just get tape, turn it sticky side out and wrap the bottom of your plant with it so they cant crawl up it

so i managed to find a product that stays in the plants system for up to a week and kills the aphids that suck on it during that time...
The product I used before only killed on contact which didnt kill the aphids hiding deep in the bud or in the roots..
I had a look two days later after the application of the new product and i couldn't see any moving aphids. Hopefully i can get this plant looking healthy again. It is definitely stressed...

Did youu use Imidicloprid? How long till harvest? A systemic will stay in your plant for a few weeks or longer depending on which one

yep, used Imidacloprid...

The plant has been delaying its flowering for a while due to the stress. I still wonder if it going to survive.. Im guessing flowering is more than 2 weeks.. I have not grown this strain before and i also dont know what it is other than it is a sativa. pistols are red, still some white pistols around but trichomes are few and mostly are clear.. No amber trichomes anywhere

RA will cause stunted growth. i believe Imid will stay in your plats system for 20-30days. Spectracide is a contact killer and will kill them instantly, while the Imid will only take affect after they have eaten it out of your plant. I used both Imid and Spect with an Insecticidal soap. Id advise getting either the soap or spec and treating them again

i will definitely be keeping a closer eye on it with the microscope. I dont think Spectracide is available where i am. I had a quick look online and again at the department store but nothing. Otherwise i would have used that as u recommend. I still got the contact spray if i see any more

For the imid, the package states not to pick stone fruit for 21 day
Brassacas, capsicums, egg plant, potatoes for 7 days
tomatoes for 3 days

so, worst case scenario, 21 days but being that it not being stored in any flesh such as stone fruit im guessing there no harm after a week...

Thanks again for you help, much appreciated.
