I could'nt have said it better myself. LED's can keep it, it's been proven, but they're not for everyone's situation. And they're extremely costly up-front. Not to mention, there are more proven results with HID lighting. That being said, there is an abundance of growers finding success with LED's, but I would agree that HID is probably the b est way to go for YOUR situation. The problem I had was the idiot who was like "LED's are garbage!". They aren't. They work fantastically, if you spend the cash on the right light and know how to grow with it properly.Hey neved. Let me try and offer some help to your grow. You need to do a few things in order for your grow to be successful. First, remove that aluminium foil from your plants. It will only generate heat, not help your plants. Second, if you can, try and get an HID lighting system for your plants. I really don't think you have enough LED's to make a successful grow and an HID will give your plants the lighting it needs.
As for your setup, I don't have to know about your setup to tell you 95% of your light is wasted. There are actually only 2 things I need to know. 1. You use a MH and/or HPS. and 2. The basics of PAR (Photo-synthetically Active Radiation). Which is basically what spectrum's of light your plant "uses/responds to" in the simple process we like to know as Photosynthesis.
You should probably learn the basics of light spectrum's and PAR ratings before you get offended by what I say, as I wasn't saying our setup is wrong, or you don't know what you're talking about (although obviously you don't). I was merely pointing out that only ~5% of light emitted by MH/HPS is us-able by plants in photosynthesis. It's all very basic.
