Up here in the REAL NORTHERN CALIFORNIA is one of the best places, especially Humboldte,Trinity,& Mendocino Counties. The Guidelines there are more logical than the standard 6 flowering or 12 vegging. As stated by the states own expert, " all plants are NOT created equal", these guidelines are not realistic.

AND by the way, up here in the real NOR CAL, we do not claim SAC or SF as northern. Check the map, Your central CAL. Im a 7th generation Redneck, as local as you can get.

So Cal.... cali isnt the only state that has med recs. each state has its own guidlines. the depensaries in my area are in some heat with the DEA and its forcing more to grow. however the spots that are still open are starting to deliver. as everyone one here that has a med rec, you still have to be discreet. they want you to put it in your trunk as if it were alcohol. its not as care free as you think, you still gotta watch your back.

my 2 cali cents

Yes, there still needs to be some discretion, but if you exercise common sense you should be ok in CA. Trust me, CA is SO much better in every way than the other states like WA/OR/CO/HI that also "allow" medical MJ. I have a friend right now in CO that has been battling for over a month now trying to get his card and he had one in CA for 2 years!

i noticed when i went to get my renewal, my doc was a bit harder. there was a guy from out of state and the doc asked for his medical records. he said he would have to get them fax over. so the doc wouldnt give it to him until he got his records. but for the most part its easy here.

ok so i didnt have official documents but as long as i get them before my renewal im golden but thats no prob ... just havent been to the doctor in a few years ... no need the meds never worked but i have an appointment in a few weeks basical if you have ANY problem the mj can help you can get it just make sure you have a print out from your normal doctor you dont have to disclose to him why you want the print out then take it to a compassion doc and blammmm central cali here by the way stanisluas sucks on thelaws but i did have some cops check out my grow for some reason(bitter family member i think) i had 6 flowering and 16 vegging (2 mothers 6 veg's and 8 clones) but e have 2 cards here they didnt do shit ..... get this book2008 ed. the margolin guide ... dude a lawyer and a genius it state ANYONE who needs more meds and his doctor says so can grow more within reason and like someone on this thread sayed (tolazy to look who) all plants (and conditions) are not equal its smart to grow 2 or 3 extra flowering in case you get bugs or anything else that might not give you enough meds soo many bi laws .... its cool as long as you NEVER have more than 99 plants cuz then its a fed matter read it in the margolin guide man its free too.

haha can't wait to start my 99 plant operation...
It doesn't go federal until 100, but you would probably go down pretty hard for anything over 50. You'd have to convince an uptight, zealous DA that you weren't growing to distribute. This advice came from a NORML endorsed lawyer who I contacted a couple weeks ago. He said the green card would do very little for me if I was caught with anything approaching 99 plants and could realistically be looking at 1-3 years in prison which is plenty of time to be raped by an HIV+ monster. Not an option. I've decided 32 plants is the magic number for me.

I was born and rasied in LA, most Southern Californians think NorCal starts with anything north of Bakersfield!

But if you split the state in half North/South, the line is somewhere above Fresno!

I've lived near Sac for 25 years now, and I can tell you that I can get to Oregon a lot faster than I can get to TJ!:-P

Pretty much everything north of Fresno is NorCal, to most Californians.

Ask the Norteno & Southern Mexican gangs where the North/South line is, it ain't way up there above Sac. The Gangs around here are Northern's! Rojo's!

This is from Porterville, just a little above Bakersfield:

They think they'er in Northern Cali!
