I was thinking about getting those dual spectrum bulbs but need to fix my 2nd ballast first. I got that cool tube in and it cut the temp ALOT!

Been there done that and works a treat in my eyes mate.. I done the obvious MH and HPS but the choice is your during your flowering stage..
Ive looked for those CMH everywhere and at this stage im going to stick with the bulbs i have seen i have the choice of what to run, Its nice to run HPS/HPS towars the end..!
Its the only way..!

haha thanks Zibra, you're a contributing factor to my success this round. cant wait to see what next round brings me. and I cant WAIT to get some bags to make some instant hash! Im also going to make oil and 'ice wax'
SCROG IS THE WAY TO GO when you want to maximize the efficiency of your light in your space. However, Zibra runs a 600w from above and 600w on the side that shines so bright on the whole plant from the soil up. Someone in a scenario like that wouldnt necessarily benefit from scrog yield-wise as he already has an efficient light footprint/penetration

magnetic but Im always looking for a deal on a digital. I had a digital dimmable 600w/400w lumatek in my cart on HTG a lot of times but never found it in me to buy it. I think ill save the LEGIT stuff like that for when Im a little closer to 'Pro' status.
I honestly have yet to read up on them but I suppose its just mH with a little bit of red to it - cool. ill just get another 250 and run nice bulbs

the trichs officially look dead on similar to the buds I usually get. i hardly ever see anything more than 20% amber when I get bud here.

and thats only jekyll. I think sour kush has a few more to go.
I might yank Yumbolt tonight. It doesnt get focused light as I moved the single 250 mainly over sour kush and jekyll. Its covered in trichs and I want to start drying it earlier to get it in jars earlier sort of as a 'practice run' since it was a freebie and Im using it for hash

If you are looking into bulbs, do not get a Digilux if you are running magnetic ballasts...go with the Hortilux. The Digilux is a fantastic bulb if you're running digital ballasts, but if your using magnetic ballasts I think Hortilux would be the way to go.

I agree 100% from my research and experience. hortilux is made to be used in magnetic and digilux is made for digital.
and tangerine dream is one of my favorites

yes, they youngins do have some stretch going on. as i said, they are in someone else's tent under their T5, helping me out so I dont have to veg under CFLs until my tent is clear. I dont think the plants like it but aside from low humidty (40%) I cant put my finger on the problem. Im not so worried about the stretch because they're topped and Ill be scrogging again anyway.
I got 400aZip from a tasteless rap song a year or so ago lol
So I took 1.67g of wet nuggets, cut them up, and did the toaster method of quick drying. I did maybe 8-12 rounds and got the weight down to .71 (after buds had been drying over 12 hours and lost almost 20% weight) After it was dry, I checked it out under the scope. Looked very cloudy, similar to buds I get around here. I packed it up and hit it to find that it could have dried a little more. however, as soon as I cleared the bong I felt it in my face - I was very surprised. I figured I made myself feel it but I passed it around and others confirmed, it works. lol
I'm glad I have a product to make concentrates with that wont be that couchlock shit. I love being completely stoned but I also love being really stoned and still doing stuff... like golf. lol

is it strange that outsides of the cut buds feel dry already? I let the plant dry out before I cut it, fed it almost a week prior to the chop. No way its ready for jars in 24 hours right? 75 degrees in 20-30% humidity. they really feel kind of crisp.. I might jar them for 30 minutes or so?

Yeah bro, I have never heard of them being dry that quickly. Maybe do like you said and jar them up briefly and try to get the moisture from inside evenly distributed again?

well, Im not sure what to tell you guys. shits getting really crispy. I have them back in jars for the time being. I check on 'em every hour or so. when they get real moist, I hang them up for about an hour. crazy, I guess that plant was reallyyy dry when I cut it. im not complaining. even the bowl I smoked from the crop wasnt the LEAST BIT HARSH, nor did it 'crackle' when i lit it. I didnt flush this plant but a couple times during its life. I gave it stronger nutes than the other two. im pretty happy so far. the cure can only make me happier
