I love your brutal honesty and attention to detail on plant/strain reviews. Taste > yield imo, bummer on the dud diesels. Plan on keeping a cut of any of the diesels or are none of them really worth it?

Thanks Gastanker. I will have to wait until they cure for a couple weeks before I pass a final judgement. At this point I'm not keeping any cuts of the RP or CC, as I'm closing up shop for a little while after I finish the Grape Stomper x OG and Deadhead in about 6 weeks. I would definitely keep cuts of both Cali Connect Sour Diesels, but I have plenty more seeds to start back up with at a date/location not yet determined.

I am heartbroken. I always hoped he would stay for 30+ years like Joe Paterno at Penn State.
I felt he was frequently out-coached in some big games (Championships against Florida and LSU), but also coached well in others (Championship against Miami, multiple BCS bowls, 8-1 against Michigan). Ohio State made 8 BCS bowl games in 10 years, which I think is tied for the most. We won 7 Big Ten Championships under him. We finally beat an SEC team in a bowl game under him.
My preference would be he stay, serve out his suspension (even if for an entire season) and then come back. I guess that wasn't an option.
But don't even get me fucking started on the stupidity of this entire situation. THE PLAYERS SOLD THEIR OWN POSSESSIONS. Why is that against the rules? It is something they EARNED through the course of their exemplary play; it is theirs to do with as they please. Are you telling me they couldn't sell their textbooks at the end of a semester? They couldn't sell a coffee table on craigslist? They can't be paid because it somehow makes them less of a student, as if they were students like everyone else...

So my CCSD #1 is unexpectedly ready for harvest @ 58 days. Still showing a fair amount of white pistils, but upon checking the trichomes yesterday I was surprised to find about 5-10% were already amber. Checked a few different spots and all were the same, so I guess she's ready.
Also snapped a few shots of CCSD #4 @ 58 days 12/12.
CCSD #4 on the left, #1 on the right.
Deadhead OG. ~3 weeks 12/12.
So I'll probably end up harvesting the CCSD #1 later this afternoon. It started flower 26 days after the RP Sour Diesel and finished faster than 3 of them. I'm pushing 80+ days on those stupid things, and their trichs are still just cloudy.

That DH looks just like the pheno I had mate, she was ready at 53 days too, but could have done with another week though imo, that SD looks lip smackingly good too.

If you were to recommend a strain for me to grow, what would you choose? I am about to order some seeds but can't determine which I should get.

That really depends on what you're looking for in a strain. For an easy to grow, good yielding strain I would suggest the Cali Connection Tahoe OG. SUPER potent, good yields, not too fussy about nutrients.
If you have some experience growing, I would suggest Barney's Farm LSD. Hands down one of the strongest and most medicinally viable strains I've ever had, but it's pretty sensitive to nutrients and would not be good for a first timer.
TGA Space Queen is fantastic as well, grows similar to the LSD. Reserva Privada OG Kush is one of my all-time favorites, though a little hard to come by. Barney's Blue Cheese is another good one if you have some experience growing.

Thanks jerry. I don't have very much experience growing so I'm gonna go with the tahoe og. Where would you recommend I buy the seeds? I usually buy from Attitude but I'm open to suggestions. Thanks

I'm hearbroken, man. I received an email on Tuesday from Attitude quietly informing me that the CC Sour D's were out of stock... Fuuuuuuuuuuu.... I seriously thought I got the last pack, considering that it showed in stock when I ordered, and out of stock about an hour afterward. I'm pretty bummed, was totally excited to finally get a decent Sour D. I ended up going with the Larry OG, we'll see how that one does.

Sucks dude. I wish I could suggest the RP Sour D as an alternative, but it's crap compared to the Cali Connect. Hold out until they re-stock, or try to find another site with them in stock.
My CCSD #1 hit the jars a couple days ago and it is everything I hoped it would be. CCSD #4 is just about finished...probably harvest that around the end of the week.
The Larry should be good though.
