JP's Cabinet grow (auto Blue Mystic)

Well gang, We chopped the girls friday and trimmed it all up.We should have maybe two ounces in total once its all dry and shrunk up.. I do not like how these blue mystics grew. i favor a main cola or two. I tried topping and it worked, the buds just didn't get fat. I think its because it wasn't an indica like i assumed it was.

Its really good smoke though, has a slight berry after taste indeed. Which was a nice surprise. Its two hit weed. blows the street dealers away. All their pot is full of seeds.

I cleaned up the cabinet and got things setup for the next grow friday after the harvest. planted two femmed short rider beans.
I posted a new thread in cfl growing but havent added any pictures yet.

i was wondering about that jp, topping and if it hinders the main colas having more than one big top, i topped new bean and got 60 grams from 5 main colas, the same with molly but only got 27 grams from 5 main colas. i guess the strain matters the most.

Yes i didnt care for this strain too much. I topped the back plant and got four tops though. the smoke is great, but just not that much of it. I believe its because i kept it at 12/12 instead of 18/6. Im planning to grow the short riders at 12/12 and see what happens. i have enough beans for another grow after the current planting. Hoping for two more females!

I really wish i could grow some of the smelly strains but stealth prevents that. The plant smell is bad enough to deal with. the girls produced a strong plant smell which is fun to cover up.

I just started a B.M. grow. I've grown before, but it was just bag seed. I'm interested in your method of concealing the smell. What was your approach? I have used a order neutralizer which seemed to work alright; However, any insight you have would be appreciated. Great looking grow btw!

for containing the smell, i havent been able to smell proof the cabinet so i grow neutral smelling strains. I also use ona gel and one of those automatic sprayers from air wick. The neutral smelling strains produce a strong "plant" smell but not a weed smell. Its a bummer because i cant grow the stinky strains at the current location.

Blue mystic, northern lights, and short riders are all neutral smelling. so i just cover up the plant smell and everything is golden.

Nice! My seeds got in about 15 days ago. 4/4 germ'd in one day. They're not growing too fast. How long did you wait before you started adding nutrients? I want them to grow but i don't want to kill them, you know?
