StonedP,

Just when I get to thinking I've stepped over the edge, I read yer posts and get a warm fuzzy feeling. Kinda like I can lean way over the abyss, get a real good look knowing you have me by my web gear.

I have a neighbor that's about to head out for greener pastures, or the pearly gates, if ya get my drift. Probly snag that one for 125k.
We've been looking after her for a couple of years now. Bringing her home cooked meals, yard work, running her to the Doc's office and grocery store. She's got no children and her husband died a few years back. She's not much into dogs so she doesn't like coming over her for meals but when the BBQ or smokers get fired up she gives my wife a call and asks if she should call the FD. Her way of saying "please bring some over".

Watched her wolf down a Berry Panenkoeken by herself. Like a crazed wolf.

She's a hoot to boot.

And you wouldn't have to tip me either!

My wife figured if I was spending money learning to cook she could take full advantage of it.

And she does.

Great at salads and cold sammies. She does use the oven to keep pans in. Heck, she uses the stovetop as a shelf.

It all works out in the end though StonedP.

I got a secret lil BBQ sauce we've been using since back in 1963. I've got friends that use it on toast, scrambled eggs.
Crazy frickers. Last count I think I have 9 BBQ's and smokers out back. 4 or five are webers. Hell I even have one for the boat.
Wonder where that picture is?

Eat healthy. Make it at home. Do it from scratch. The food chain is getting fucked harder and harder every day. I'm 53. No pharmies in my temple. I even question taking an aspirin. Processed food? I'll pass.

It's breakfast time!

Todays menu is gonna be,,,,,

Sausage gravy and baking soda biscuits! along with some eggs and grits, honey wheat toast with black currant jam.

If you guys are hungry for some stoner treat head on over to the cooking with cannabis forum and look at my cook book sticky, its full of all sorts of treats. My favorite cheese really has to do with what I am eating, on roast beef I like Horseradish Chedder, on turkey its always swiss, ham I usualy use a soft white or a mix like muenster but, My all time favorite cheese is Chevre Goat Cheese. Boomer thats a great idea to smoke meat with cannabis stems but, how does it really taste, is it a mild smokey flavor or more of that stringent cannabis flavor?

Mild cannabis flavor. All depends on how much you use.

Now the wife only tokes once or twice a year. Usually after a stellar harvest and 60 or 90 day cure.

She went wolf on the cannaQ'd steaks and chicken. Told me to stop using the hickory and apple wood.

If I got over to the cooking section I'd never leave it. Being that my first love is Mary Jane.

and the wife understands.

For some reason she'd rather have me here than back over there so she puts up with a lot of my gung-ho crappola.

Give that gal a big Oooooohhhhraaaaaaahhhhhhhh!!!!!!

So whenever the opp comes by to drop a tasty snack or two is best for boomer.

man's got to know his limitations,,,,,,,,,,,

to smoke with cannabis, take cleaned stems and dry them very well. Then break them up into chunks. Take about a small hand full and soak in water for 30 mins. Place directly over coals and cook l,ike you normally would. If you have a gas grill I suggest you make a small tray from foil and place your stem chips in it. Then place that foil tray under the grate right over the heat diffuser in a spot that is over high heat but not direct flame.

Sorry just back from up north.

Use the stems, branches and twigs in a Weber or gas grill. Place them on the same rack as the steaks above the coals or gas fire. I soak mine in the leftover hashwater/tapwater for 5 minutes so they don't flame up. Wet they smolder, produce a ton of smoke and the smoke hits the meat.

Them busstards in tejas have all the good mesquite. I got a taste for old hickory. Apple wood for pork.

Just whipped up some Sausage gravy and giant baking powder biscuits, from scratch. And yes,,,,

it was delish.

Damn, if I wasn't so tired I'd be tempted to break out the aebleskiver skillet and Stuff em with strawberry
preserves and whip up some fresh heavy whipped cream.

Guess I'll settle for a leftover biscuit with the strawberry preserves.
