nah man still waiting on AG to send my my kit with the new plugs and baskets gettin my setup built now using a wooden cabnet with couple of extra cfl's still need help with odor control and vent and prob heat so thats where im at im really tryin to get this goin hahaha but what do you think for odor control in apartment grow?

Not too sure man, i never had to worry about smell, just look into those DIY carbon scrubbers, I know they have this stuff called Ona Gel, i think your order it online and that helps with the smell, its just a container that you leave open and it takes the smell out of the air, there a bunch of options, just gotta see which one works

once you get a good sized tap root, just plant them and you should be good, let them get a good length, but no too long

okie dokie like what maybe half an inch? or smaller? and which way do i put it in the pod? the tap root pointed downwards?

First of all, I would like to welcome you on your AG journey!!! Not only is it a shit load of fun, but smoking weed you watched grow is very self satisfying.
What I did for my AG is i took the tomato seeds out of the sponge and made a small hole through the sponge. Just put the tap root CAREFULLY in the hole and place the pod in the AG, then magic:leaf:. Make sure that the hole is big enough that the root can go down but not too big that the seed falls into your res. I never made the hole big enough my first time and the root started to bunch and swell at the end.

I agree! I've been around these boards more reading than posting but he certainly is in a lot of threads giving advice, and it is much appreciated bro, josh420 goodluck with your grow, I myself just strated my AG grow 2 weeks ago with bagseed but am germanating a autoflower la diva right now, my plants are about 7" after 2 weeks of veging, few little errors with nutes on and the burn, so be careful and mind you use less cause you can always add more, but you can't take out what you put in so use sparingly! I look forward to following your grow =)

thanks man so much respect!! i have a question i just went and bought this huge CFL it says 42 watt= 150 watt?? i bought this heat lamp shade fomr the pet store and tried to put this huge CFL in there and it says not to use this light bulb in lamps that use a dimmer which it does i put the bulb in the lamp and it flickers and is yellow shouldnt it be like bluish? and is this bulb to big for the lamp cuz the lamp shade says 250volt then under it says 660w ? so does that mean it will work or should i buy a smaller one? and will the ph up and down from the pet store with fish on it that says for 6.0 ph and above should i still buy it?? thanks for the help i hope im not too confusing! haha

the CFL, is 43 actual watts, but is a 150 watt, replacement. You want DAY LIGHT for vegging, and SOFT WHITE for flowering. It should say on there, that pH kit should be fine, but you want a kit that you can adjust the pH UP, and put the pH DOWN.

your fixture is fine, it will work, look for daylight for soft white on the package, you said its kinda blue for im guess if a day light bulb

yea should i change to a smaller cfl and my seeds are auto flowering so what CFL light bulb should i buy? and i just saw crappy ph test strips but they all only read at 6.o and higher and the ph up and ph down were 2 DIFF bottles is that sound about right? sorry im such a noob bro!! SICC YOUR THE SHIT!!

hell yea thanks whats the link for the ph stuff?? and it doesnt say it just says general purpose nothing about day or even if it soft but it compares itself in the small print to soft white so i shold get a 23 watt CFL?
