No moderator gets paid anything for working here & its allways been that way , even the global mods like greatwhitenorth, fdd2blk , sunni ect are unpaid volunteers & do their work for free .
The only figures ive seen for server costs were from the V Bulliten Admins forum , i read where an admin of another site was paying over $10k per month but his site has streaming video & interactive menu.
Even if the server costs for riu were as low as $10,000 a year thats a pretty huge cost to absorb year after year just for the purpose of maintaining a site that generates zero income, i hate these stupid ads too but its hard to blame the owner for trying to turn a profit with this site .
