tempature and humidity with a steady rate of increase of decline (no drastic changes) is the best remedy i have found for stouborn seedlings that dont want to spring up for me. a big problem i had when i first started grwoing and then had to relearn when i treid indoor is just dont futz with your babies. look but dont touch. try to get your room in perfect harmony then leave it be. then you check on it once or twice a week and the diffrence is amazing, but when you hover and over protect them problems can occour. they look damn fine though so no worries, they are just building up nice root systems to pay out all those big buds later :)

Ya, temp/humidity is the same, haven't messed with all that jazz, got a fan right by em, temps 79-80 with lights on 74-75 without lights. humidity is a constant 44%. So ya, i'll just leave em be for awhile, let em do their thing i guess, Thanks man.

Wont grow huh? Why dont you go ask the person who said to use Light Warrior....

Dont mean to be a dick but I told ya earlier, lol, did you read the back of the bag??? LW is for seedlings and starting roots, It tells you right on the bag that after 5 days you have to feed them. First 2 weeks go 24 on light schedule.

I did and i did lol. The bag says after 5 days aye and The guy at the shop said to start feeding em after you see greenage pop up. He said to use the Big Bloom micro nute. thats what i've been doing these last couple days. I guess my main Question is can they handle the 1000w yet?

Haha, the picture of the closet with lights on is funny! Looks like the gates to heaven. ( And it likely will be in the next 60+ days ) :)

Love the setup man, wish I had space in my condo for something like that. Keep up the great work.

at a glance, i think they look like they are eating themselves, but i am not sure, being new as well
Didn't know plants would do that. However the 2 gimps are the ones that still had the seed on them when they popped up out the dirt. Seed fell off fine enough, but just wondering if that caused some deficencies. The big guy with the browning leaf is just confusing. He was the big guy, my main man, but he is a tad sick lookin now, doing all the research i can on it, hopefully i can figure it out.

Hey, I'm the guy from the other thread that had the exact problem. I just wanted to say that it's been like a week since I started being concerned about that spot like yours. I just want to say that now my growth has taken off and the leaves with the spot are still not as green as the new growth and the necrotic spot hasn't gone away. THE IMPORTANT PART... is that the new growth looks fine. Your problem looks amazingly similar to mine so just keep the pH and watering in check and just let em grow. They should be fine :-)

thanks man, I'll keep ya updated fo sho. Ya i accidently squirted Gimpie 1 with the water bottle. Didn't mean too, that doesnt happen all the time I assure you. And go figure it was right on picture day lol, kinda like at school when you spill koolaide on yer only shirt hehehehe. But ya, the lights they are under are floros with a fan on em, I'm not 100% sure but I don't think those lights would put a burn spot on the leaves, The fixtures don;t even emit any heat.

View attachment 1447489View attachment 1447488Hey slojo, nice set-up! Your growth does look slow though. I used a mixture of starter mix/fox farm potting mix and foxfarm ocean mix in 3" peat pots to start. Used flouros for 2 days after breaking soil then started under 400 watt mh right away. Transplanted to 3 gallon pots after 5 days with same soil mix minus the seed starter mix and added 20% perlite to the soil in 3 gal pots. Had light down to about 12" away from tops but leaves fringed a little, so now at about 15-16" away and they feel much better. Here is a photo of the growth at 11 days from breaking through soil(13 days from planting seeds. They're White Russians... Good luck with your grow. This is my first attempt also!
Peace...

Hey slojo, sorry for posting in your journal, didn't realize it was a no-no to post in someone elses journal unless asked(I should have read the sticky first!) My Bad!!

Sweet man, thanks for stoppin by. I went to the Grow shop today and told him about what lights i was using. Had t12 40w 4100k bulbs. He said that he can almost gaurantee that is the reason they are so small at 3 weeks. So i put them in the closet under the 1K bulb, the light is 4 and a half feet above the plants. Plus i toned down the watering. Just watered em today. last time i watered them was on tuesday, next watering will be Sunday i think. We'll see.

Also, thanks for stopping by to you too snowman, sorry i didn't see ya earlier. And ya, my spot got bigger! lol. But the new growth on top looks pretty good like you were saying. Kinda limp looking, not perky like the other 2. But still, the biggest plant i got hehe.

plants are looking good man! -- when did you start feeding them? Im on day 10 of my first grow.. Im scared to feed them now, in fear I might burn the little sons a bitches..

are those 3 gallon pots?

I take it if you are watering every other day, you are not watering until you see water drain out.. you are watering just enough... is that about right?
