plants are looking good man! -- when did you start feeding them? Im on day 10 of my first grow.. Im scared to feed them now, in fear I might burn the little sons a bitches..

are those 3 gallon pots?

I take it if you are watering every other day, you are not watering until you see water drain out.. you are watering just enough... is that about right?
Well i fed em for about a week, every other watering at lik 1/4 strenght that it said to use. I fed em with fox farms Big Bloom. And ya, i just let the water pool up with a squirt bottle let it sink in, then squirt again til it has little small puddles and let that sink in. But this week i'm trying the water til it drains thing and let it all dry out.

But i figured out the problem with their growth guys. Apparently t12 40w lights are like the least efficient light source lol. I put them in the 1000w closet and they have just taken off. Ill post pics later when they are kinda bigger.

Brinks Timers = Piece of SHIT!!!!

Gray tabs get pushed down for the times you want it on. Those gray tabs push the little tab on top in and turns it on however, that little tab on top keeps pushing the gray tabs UP and turns off my shit!! fricken LAME!! Have to plug my lights and fans into the wall directly until i can go get another timer. Any ideas on decent timers where this problem wouldnt be an issue, lemme know.

Well I you can get the GE-brand timers at home depot. They're only like $4 per. I would recommend getting better ones however. It likes to click off but not actually disengage the solenoid that ACTUALLY turns it off. So it'll think it's turned off and leave stuff on. All you have to do to get it working and turn your stuff off is tap it. It's not a big deal for me because it works MOST of the time but I'm usually right near it to see if it turns off when it should. http://www.homedepot.com/h_d1/N-5yc1v/R-100685881/h_d2/ProductDisplay?langId=-1&storeId=10051&catalogId=10053

Hey guys, update here with pics. They are really taking off now that they are under the 1000w light. Wish i woulda had em under the right type of light from the start. Bought 2 floro grow lights for seedlings, so hopefully the next batch will grow a ton better. But anyways, I have 4 plants doing REALLY well, another plant thats kinda runty, Gimpy 2. She has some new green growth on top of her so i think she'll be ok. Just kinda slower than the rest hehe.

I've stopped feeding them for now, just water, cut back even more on the watering and it seems to be the right thing to do. I only watered them on tuesday, thursday and saturday this week and they seem to have responded to it awesomely.

Anyways, heres what they look like at the end of week 4:

Here are the 2 Champs! I think the first one is kickin ass though hehe.

Heres the one with the Necrotic leaf, I cut that leaf off and she seems to be doing just fine:

Heres Gimpy 1, Doing good, good color, kinda smaller compared to the others, but i think she looks great.

Heres Gimpy 2, Problem Child hehe. She is green up top, but her leaves look kinda poor, not sure what happened to her.

Anyways, we are in business. I got 5 new seeds for free, friend of mine says he wants me to grow em out since i have room. Its a White Rhino female polinated with a Lemon Haze male he said. Got 5 seeds, just gonna grow 2 and hope they are ready to flower with the white widows. Anyways. Thanks for checkin in guys. I'll be up for a few hours. So anyone with advice or questions feel free. Peace!

Hey Metal, thanks for stoppin by :D

Usin Fox farms Light Warrior on these guys, I only fed em like twice, not sure how i can get nute lock from that but ya lol. I also said my watering schedule in the post above ya, its about every other day PH is fine, Tap water ran through a filter and let sit in a bucket for about 2 days to let the chlorine evaporate. Also has an airstone in it to keep it airated. Anyways, I'm just going to use Plain water for another week and hopefully by the end of this week (next tuesday) they will be ready for their 3 gallon bucket home and some Fox Farms Ocean Forrest :)

I have always seen my buddies use Ocean Forest all the way through, peeps say its too hot but I have seen multiple strains both sativa and indica grown in the stuff. Light warrior is good too I would get them in the Ocean Forest as soon as possible and when u water just water enough don't soak the soil, u could be releasing too much of the ferts. Where is your humidity sitting at with lights on and off? Don't use tap water, ya u evaporated the chlorine but what about all of the calcium and fluoride your filter isn't getting out? Stick to Type 3 or 4 distilled water or reverse osmosis and get a PH up and down kit and water your girls with 6.5-7.0 PH'd water. I say your plants are nute locked because I've seen white widow grow and those stems should not be purple and red they should be green.

Ya man, you need to read the thread, i have all of that stuff down, PH kit, TDS/EC meter. I fed the plants twice with 1/4 strength of big bloom, but figured that was a bad idea and stopped doing that a little over a week ago. They are watered with 6.8 ph water, My ppm meter shows the water at 50ppm with no nutes. All my friends grow BEAUTIFUL crop off the tap water around here, the only thing they suggested was to filter it which im doing. If for some reason they start showing signs of water issues, i'll address it then but they are diong awesome right now, minus gimpy2 lol.

As far as the stems being red ad purple, I'm not sure about that, this is the first time i've heard of that being a factor in plants. I'll do research on that and see whats up. Thanks man and just a side note, i dont mind advice so don't think im baggin on ya, but you really should read threads before tellin people what to do or get as equipment, soil etc etc. this is my first time growin though so everything as far as what to do is welcomed and i don't mind tellin ya what i got again, but some people get annoyed at that type of stuff hehe. Thanks again though, gonna read up on the red stem stuff

dude they look better now that's for sure!
HAHA!! Whatup man, you made an account eh? nice .... I mean I've never seen you before in my life ... lol.

Side note, i did some research on that whole red stem thing and i think im in good shape. The conditions that would cause the stems to be red or purplish do not exist in my setup. Found the thread on here actually here ya go though:

I am always troubled more by problems with new growth then old growth. That holds for all plants not just MJ.
All my youngins' get 2tsp Epsom salts in one gal water for the first month. MB it's a cal/mag thing.
But I'm pleased to see your seedlings are acclimating and the new growth looks encouraging.
