high, i just transplanted my plant from a 3 gallon pot to a 5 gallon pot. i put 2 inches of perlite on the bottom of the pot and filled the rest with soil. im growing indica the strain is grape punch and im wondering if it is possibly overwatered or over nutriented. i havent watered yet since i transplanted and am wondering if i should, some of the fan leaves are claw like. i put fresh soil in it. here are some attached pictures, any replies are appreciated -

It looks like your plant is fine except for the bottom!! It looks like over nute due to the burning on the tips of the leaves!! I would water it but i would give it water only!! Those leaves are going to do you no good anyway!! Good luck with the rest of your grow!!

Plants look alright except the bottom but like allgrownup said they dont really matter in the long run, what kind of light is that, and i dont think its good to fill the bottom of the pot with perlite like that, if your doing this for drainage just get some good soil like Happy Frog from your local hydro shop.:leaf:

I was going to advise him of that because i have never heard of anyone putting perlite just on the bottom of their mix! The perlite helps the drainage but only if it is throughout your mix!! Glad that you said something because i think that will help him tremendously!!

theres nothing wrong with a layer of perlite but it would do u better in the mix.

sumtimes u can get broken pots from the nursery jus breakem up more and use that. since u have to buy perlite

my fav mix is 1 part pearlite 1 part wormcastings and 1 part premimum organic otting soil.

to help with shock during transplanting use a couple of tlbspoons of epsom salts in a gallon of water and feed immediatly after transplanting.\

happy growin
PEACE

too late to do the epson salt cus i already transplanted a while ago. but my soils pretty good pbfseedcoits foxfarm ocean so, not bad. and yes i should mix some perlite with the soil i kind of made it like layers like perlite on the bottom, soil on top, then a layer of perlite and then the rest soil. should i just use my hands to mix it around? and i am planning on cutting the bottom leaves off now so the plant isnt waisting energy on them. should i just cut the whole branch or just the leaves? oh ya and pbf im using a 100 watt metal halide then a 70 watt hps. im planning on buying the complete 400 watt htgsupply grow tent for 500 dollars that would come with a 400 watt hps and mh.

Let them adapt to the new environment, don't use any nutes and let them use up the water you put them in the soil when you transplanted them. Hold the nutes, see how they come along first and don't forget that they have grown, so the distance from the light should be remeasured. Peace

did your plant have roots showing on the 3 gallon pot? it doesn't look like it's big enough that it needed a transplant just yet.
