keeping the critters away

i want to start something so every one knows what works to keep the pests away and what doesn't plz help bugs to deer chime in if you have a secret for the critters

There is a variety of things you spray on your plant to keep the bugs off. Also is your name Robert Paulson by any chance?

no it is not lol i have a very good system for critters i would just like a thread where noobs to growing can come and find out the dos and dont's

I want to some know some more secrets for rabbits beside chicken wire,keeping plants in pots and rabbit repellent/fox urine.

two things that i have is Diatomaceous Earth (9 bucks for 4lbs at Lowes) and Dyna GRO Neem Oil (17,99 per quart) its worth to have both of it for your beloved garden

i plant very close to a coyote den and murphy oil soap and Irish spring soap spray the oil soap on the plant and all around the plot its smells like fire ants to me and it keeps bugs away to i buy it at the dollor store and mix it 8 cap per 2L and rub the bar soap in to the bark of trees around the area and through some bars around i have had very good luck with this method

i had 4 plants at one of my plots get dug up. i am kind of pissed ay myself for not building a better fence.

a three year old german shepherd works for me. NOTHING/NOBODY gets in my yard except grasshoppers, the little bastards... for those keep your grass and weeds cut down and the soap idea mentioned before. they munched down my lettuce which i won't spray with anything. for my fruit trees i use a deer mesh covering it when the fruit is ripe. wrapping your p-plants in screen would work too. treat them like tomatoes, unlimited info on those.
