They ain't no such a thang, as a "Hawaiian Land race" Cannabis strain
The first hemp plants in Hawaii, were likely planted by the crew of Captain James T. Kirk... Uh, I mean Cook-
European explorers always carried hemp seeds with them, and planted them everywhere they went, so they could come back later, and make rope for their sailing ships.
But the legendary Hawaiian Cannabis strains of the 60's and 70's, were either freaky examples, or land race strains from other countries that happened to grow really well in Hawaii. And if you happen to actually get some of those really dynamite Kona Gold seeds, they won't ever be that great, unless you happen to live in a tropical climate, and grow enough to find something special.
And yeah, I did throw something out there about some guy, who's well known on the Big Island
