Hey Zoo! thanks for stopping by. I have been keeping up with your grow actually and I think you are doing great (even if you don't think you are ;))

I was just about to post an update.

Day 53! On her 7th week and doesn't look like I will be ready for harvest in 8 weeks.

As you can see, her trichomes are still kicking it. She has many brown hairs but they are not laying down so I think I have a few weeks to go at least.

*Edit

Another 53 day macro. I never ventured into the macroverse before and am learning. Having a blast.

57 Days old macro shots.

I am doing an almost daily update so I can get a recorded journal of how long it takes for the trichomes to turn amber once they all are cloudy.

Looking good, what do you use to take macro pictures?

also my auto's got bugs lol >.>
Bugs? Oh no! What you going to do about those?

As far as macro, I sold my camcorder and bought a Sigma 105mm macro lens. Its really nice but hard to take shots in my tiny space.

Some close ups I just took...

I really want to harvest because most of her leaves are yellow and the buds are looking ready...the only thing is the trichomes are telling a different story. :|

Some how thrips managed to find there way into my grow tent, ive sprayed with neem oil so hopefully that will keep them at bay untill harvest.

That's a very nice piece of equipment you got there bud, i'd love to be able to take macro shots but my budget can't stretch that far, maybe one day.

How early did the leaves start turning yellow? I ask this because my haze plant's fan leaves have started going yellow and the same with the roadrunner but they have atleast a good 3 weeks left maybe more although they are starting to smell fruity which im happy about and theirs some brown hairs on the roadrunner.

I think the longer you leave them the more potent they will be, i'd say 7 days tops and you'll have some dank smoke.

I cant remember when my leafs started to turn yellow to be honest. Seems like they were turning yellow and falling off since the start.

Ah alright, well my haze buds are small but the roadrunner seems to be producing alot of bud.

And wow she's looking very nice. :weed:

Thanks! She stabilized at almost 21" *EDIT make that 22" strong! Just measured.

Word of advice...be very gentle with nutes and do not use nutes until she starts flowering. My plant has been burnt since day one because I treated her like a non-auto.

@Zootime

Thanks man! I have seen a few roadrunner grows and they seem to be a good producer. I will be growing out my roadrunner out next.

If you are not going to get your journal up and running Zoo, you can post your pics here. ;)

man she looks so amazingly good, i think shes ready to harvest like tomorrow, you should always harvest based on more than just the thrichomes, some strains don't get as many amber trichs too, just sayin. but you've clearly done an amazing job, enjoy your smoke man!

man and the best thing is next time i will grow about 6 auto's at once and get enough bud for atleast 6 months, ill get enough bud this time to cover xmas and new years im hopeing. this was only really a test run for me because my white widows died *i tried using rockwool in soil* not a good idea lol. And yeah i would of made a journal earlier but i only had access to a 2 megapixal camera which was crap, i should have a 6 megapixel one in a few days so that will do until i get a better one and ill make a journal if its not to late. Oh and btw i forgot to mention i have a mature skunk #1 plant that i will switch to 12/12 after my auto's are done, im hesitant to do it now incase my auto's produce less bud.

I agree.

However, I am going to wait until Saturday to see where I am at. The bud itself doesn't look as ready as I like. I want more of the hairs to recede.

I also found that autos seldom finish in the advertised time but the extra is well worth it.....they tend to fatten up those last weeks! Good looking snowryders....and dope-seeds is where I get my autos...good reseller of good breeders.
