Lookin great man. What watt cmh u runnin? Sorry didn't see if u posted that already. My 330w was supposed to come in the mail yesterday but didn't so hopin today is they day. What kind of temps u got goin in there?

Wiith my reg mh the temp gets upto 84 during hottest time of day. So hoping cmh will bring that downa bit. Im gonna flip my ladies to 12/12 whenever the bulb comes and ill be running tthe lights at night so hopefully it will stay under 80.

I would also suggest that you take those 90 degress turns out of the ducting because for every turn of ducting you lose a lot of cfm(forgot exact forumula) so if possible try to hang or support it somehow so that its straight as possible and as short as possible tto maximize cooling. My best friends a HVAC technician so I learn a lot from him.

4 feet tall....thats pretty tall, what strain are you growing....i use a product called bushmaster that stops vertical growth, that might help

Whoa man no need for attitude. Not doubting ur knowledge or anything. Just tryin to give some friendly advice. If u did know all about air flow then u wouldn't have ur duct in a u shape. Basic stuff. What's wrong with being a tin knocker?

You can call me a tin knocker I guess. I am a fabricator and certified welder by trade. I build custom off road
suspensions for a living, which inludes knocking lots of tin.

And u mean a 330w cmh right? They dont make 400. Next one up is a 550w.

How u like the bushmaster? I've been lookin for something like this to help at our big collective grow cuz the diesel gets so damn tall every time and I gotta watch em so they don't hit the lights (even thought we got 10 foot ceilings). Any negative effects from this? I've only seen this stuff for sale and haven't heard any feedback

lol...no attittude at all brother, i was just assuming your buddy was a sheet metal worker......i too am a craftsman and we usually make fun of the other trades, nothing personal
i picked up my cmh on ebay from htg and it is in fact a 400watter......ive actually never come across the 330w or 550w
the bushmaster works great....i would recommend foliar feeding as it is a little more gentle....any clones taken from the plant after application takes a long time to come out of it.....i had 6 clones with nodes stacked on top of nodes but no stem for almost two months

heres an example for ya lost nug im a sparky(electrician) and on the site we would always yell at the tin bashers for messing our shit up .... thus we would yell "i a sparky hear me roar you fucking tin bashers!!!!!" lol i got nothin against em though just the way the site works. :)

edit: cause different trades always have to come back at different stages and if theres problems and shit.

Gottcha man. Took it the wrong way I guess. I'm proud of bein a tin knocker cuz custom sheetmatal work is my specialty. Been havin long day and now been sitting in the emergency room for 2 hours cuz my gf started getting some real bad stomach pains.

Anyways... I have seen cmhs labeled as 400w but actually 330w but iif u say urs is a 400 I take ur word for it. Maybe its just phillips then that doesn't make the 400w. I don't have much experience with cmh or mh. Have always used hps n t5s . I talked to the guy from advanced tech ligghting (the guy that created those good videos on cmh) and he exlained a lot stuff to me about cmh. They have acttually already been making cmh's upto 2500w but only for industrial use. Phillips said that they will not sell anything more then 330w (for 400w mh or hps ballast) because they get very inneficent, overkill for plants and are too dangerous for everyday consumers. So how he explained it to me, it is much more efficient to run mulmultiple 330w systems instead of 1000w. He seems like a very intelligent guy so info seems credible.

Yeah ill definetly be looking into the bushwhacker. I wont be spraying my mothers so that's not an issue. Thanks for the tips man

Day 20 of Flowering

101_0299.jpgThe Garden
101_0287.jpg101_0298.jpgFront row: Master Kush, El Capitan OG, Sour Alien
101_0297.jpg101_0296.jpgBack Row: Trainwreck, Cinderella '99, Jamaican Og
101_0288.jpgMaster Kush......a few white hairs, no flowers as of yet
101_0291.jpgTrainwreck.....flowers beginning to form
101_0294.jpgEl Capitan OG.....flowers beginning to form
101_0293.jpgCinderella '99.....a few white hairs, no flowers as of yet
101_0292.jpgSour Alien.....flowers beginning to form
101_0295.jpgJamaican OG.....flowers beginning to form

The Jamaican OG seems to be the furthest into flowering with the Master Kush trailing way behind and the Cinderella '99 which is also a slow starter hopefully forming flowers any day now

101_0300.jpgwith just a little bit of plant training and ingenuity......i found a way to achieve an even canopy

Looking good Kush. I finally raised my LED up a couple of feet so I will be able to better move them while LSTing the B-Jeepers out of mine. Nice equalization of the canopy. The Sour Alien looks rather cool.

Just wanted to let you guys in on my composting situation...it is going well
101_0301.jpgi started off with one bin and eventually ended up with four....my whole family is basically vegetarian so a compost bin was a no-brainer

101_0304.jpgi start out with something like this....the brown bag is full of veggies also
101_0305.jpg101_0306.jpgand then it turns into something like this

101_0303.jpg101_0302.jpgand then something like this

101_0307.jpgi began mixing and matching different bins at different stages throughout the composting.....another three weeks and i believe the large bin will be ready for some planting
