Speaking of music, not fifteen minutes ago some kids took over the end of the block for some Breakin 2: Electric Boogaloo, lol. A tiny silver Honda pulls up in front of my neighbor's place, and three kids that looked a lot like late-80s Kid n' Play (lol) got out and broke into a (semi) choreographed routine. One of the kids had a fluffed out fade, all dressed in matching track suits. They were running back and forth to the car (smoking) and switching seats when they did, like some 40s-era comedy routine, laughing madly the entire time. One of them jumped over the dog fence, from a stand still, then leapt back and forth several times! Not seen this type of stuff since being in the Boroughs as a kid, for real. The music was some modern shit, not my scene, but they were on point.
I was mesmerized the entire time, so into it.
I waved one of the ipads at them (out second story window, maybe 30 yards away) and said "You got the moves, lemme YouTube this!", and they all fell out laughing, "NOOOO wayyyy" and this type of shit, lol. Just before they all flew in the car at once and took off, I waved the ipad again and said "Wooooorrrllllddd Staaaaarrrrrrr!" in unison with the driver. They'd all fallen the fuck out at this point and barely made it to the stop sign. LOL
