last summer OK now 90 degrees!

So i have a homemade tent out of panda film. Roughly 7 x 7 area, with 1kwatt hps air cooled hood with can filter. Am using a stanly blower modified as inline fan. I have taped under the panda film a 6" duct blowing into tent., the other side attached to ac vent in floor. Last summer this worked well and the tent was often chilly :). now plants mayjorly stressed and high temps. I was gonna just buy a 5k BTU window unit(have window in tent luckily) but realized it's a sliding window and ac unit wont fit. Anyone have any ideas for me to check, im lost as to why last summer it worked well. I am in a trailer so i cant exhaust vent through room, i put a 6" hole in corner of floor and vent through that. I checked the duct work to feel for holes but nothing. Going to work now, when i get off tonight i'll post some pics if needed(lights on at night btw)

Dont blow air in ,suck old hot air out. A centrif fan sucking air from the hood(other side passive) blowing it outside. A piece of cardboard or thin sheet timber with a 6" hole slotted into open window.

Ill take filter and fan apart tonite after work and see if it helps cleaning them. ill leave filter off for while too . thanks for the replys ill post results

WOW, had unexpected guests at the house and wasn't able to get into back room but for quick minute. took can filter off and temp dropped to 80's. I think clogged filter and old worn out fan were causes. thanks for the help, even though I couldn't reply sooner.

i think since you're exhausting under the trailer you're now working against your fans. Find a way to vent out the roof (cut a penetration?) and mount the exhaust fan high. Since heat rises, the exhaust fan will be working more efficiently and you won't have to worry about the heat buildup as much (unless it's super hot out which means you need A/C)

as far as filters go, try adding an additional intake filter (or two) and make the intake hole 3x bigger than the area of the exhaust. A 6" exhausts area is i think around 36 square inches so the intake should be 108sq in area or approx 12 " (113 in^2)
