Hey forgetster, whats going on dude? did your buddah go male on you? your photos are great.what type of camera do you have. i would be super pleased with those images if i were you . my camera sucks for macros and your looks really quite clear. take it easy.

ok so she went herm on me. im going to continue to grow her though there is too much good bud to shut her down plus the male flowers arent forming properly anyway so im hoping she wont seed up. ppm's stable at 1400.
sorry about the photos there just isnt any room left in there to move the camera about, the buddha has taken up her whole tent i can only really snap the front outside branches the ones furthest away from the light.
the first thing u notice when u go downstairs is the garlick body odour stench mixed with rotting fruit its quite bad actually, but i have had to tie some branches down and i can tell u when u bump a bud your in for a treat its like a big tropical fruit punch. so delicious

day 3 12/12
no photo today but shes doing well filling in the screen nicely. ppm's stable at 700. should have flipped her earlier i think im going to have height issues again with this girl. i plan on letting her stretch until she has filled the screen then im going to start supercropping her to try and keep her short. i was also wondering what effect topping her during stretch would have so i might experiment with that a little

Nice update! yes i see quite a bit of bud on your buddah. He looks pretty robust and might make for some nice cannabutter. Have you tried cannabutter or are you even interested in it as an alternatitive way to medicate? THe smelll sounds super good. in know how that friuty taste can be sooo intoxicating. lol

thanks amber. there is a lot of potential in the buddha its a shame about my poor scrog skills this time around i think there is a lot of room for improvement in my future grows but thats what its all about. i also think that i wouldnt mind growing the buddha again. this plant was a freak from the start the other one which i killed looked alot better and i have a feeling it wouldnt have herm'd on me. it just looked to have better genetics right from the start. such a shame i killed it.
yeah i have made cannabutter before and i will definitely be making some from this bush. i think its going to make me some pretty nice brownies

well all is well i had to pick the tops off of 2 of my colas due to the male flowers but the good news is it seems as though thats all there is. i have no doubt that there is probably still the odd one or two in there somewhere but at least i dont think the whole garden will seed up.
she seems to be a slow flowerer but it looks as though she is going to fill in the gaps and produce some quite large colas, slow and steady wins the race.... hopefully lol.
ppms still stable at 1300 not much to report really

well its 6 days of 12/12 so far and she is stretching her legs and filling the screen out to the edges. she doesnt seem as keen to fill in the gaps as the buddha was at this stage but thats ok because the screen is much smaller. i think she will show flowers a lot sooner than the buddha because she has been showing sex now for quite a while and other vk's i have seen didnt seem to take the full 2 weeks to show flowers. anywho we shall see.
i pruned off a fait bit of undergrowth already there were a lot of branches that didnt stand a chance at getting up to the canopy so i got rid of them. one of my main regrets with the buddha is i didnt lollipop it enough and should have focused alot more energy into keeping an even canopy. i think i could have massively increased my yeild on her if i did that. but you live and you learn so hopefully the vk takes advantage of what i have learned so far and teaches me a little more too

How do u do ur trimmin? All at once or in bits?
Ive Only trimmed 4 dead leafs but plan to do bit more when it stretches now im about to start 12/12.

hey natty im pretty new to this myself but the info i have read says to cut it away a little bit at a time so as not to stress the plant too much.
that said natty i been watching your grow and i wouldnt go trimming anything away just yet. once you start to spread her out across the screen a lot of the lower growth is going to shoot up into your canopy. u can take some of the fan leaves if you really want to if you think that they are glocking light to new shoots or something just remember they are photosynthesis factories and even the ones that dont get light are like back up reserves of nutrients etc. so go easy at first. once u have your screen more evenly filled out it will become more clear which leaves and branches need to be removed

Well you can still control it up to a point by chopping off the male flowers. It's quite a hassle but will pay off

yeah blue i actually think it was my own fault. it only effected 2 tops and only the very tips. it also just so happened that those 2 tops had gotten extremely close to the light. i think the heat stress turned them male somehow.
thats why im fairly confident that the rest will be ok.

thanks tran. i never intended for them to get that close i simply ran out of head room. i never expected that to happen my grow area is about 2m high. but the buddha just kept on growing and growing and growing lol
