its not the best photo but it does show how bushy she is. shes going really great so healthy. her leaves a re canoeing a little but i think she just doesnt really like the australian climate. im hoping to flip her to 12/12 in 10 days then she should finish at roughly the same time as the buddha fingers crossed. the rate shes growing i think in 10 days she should be up to the screen anyway.

A, you misunderstood me! I was saying that I was lazy! Because I was asking questions that I am sure I could find the answers to if I took the time to look back in the journal.

Yeah guys the ppmz are high but thas what the plant asks for so thats what I give her the results speek for themselves. But just cause mine are high here does not mean everyone should go bump there ppms. Listen to what your plant wants. And in lighting with a 600w dual spectrum hps. Oh and thanks for all the encouragement its great seeing everyone here backing me

Hey forget. Everyting is looking great! Keep it up.
You say your using a 600w HPS? Is it air cooled? I've just got mine normal at about 36" away from the plant. Going to buy a heat shield soon so I can drop it a lil bit closer. You using one of these and how far away is your light?

Hi! I have heard of others "letting the plants tell you what they need", but I dont think i understand it. Do you mean, increasing the PPM each res. change to the point where you see some signs of over nuteing? or is there a way to use your daily PPM measurements to read what she need? Currently, between res. changes, my PPMs increase, indicating she is drinking more water than nutes. Should that be telling me that my initial PPMS are too high? This is interesting stuff! Thanks GG

Green giant. Yes if your ppms are rising you are ovrrfeeding as a general rule you want your ppms to be stable so the don't drop or rise. This means your plant will be taking in equal amounts nutes and water. If you measure them and they have dropped she is hungry and in your next change you can go a little higher. If they are rising she is thirsty and u could use a little less. Every plant will be different and she will even need higher and lower amounts at different stages also. For example during aggressive growth mine got as high as 2000 but now that in flowering I have dropped down to 1700. Its really quite simple once you get the hang of it and takes all the guess work out of your feeding schedule. I owe alot to scottyballs his method is superb.

Also yes my light is aircooled mine is really quite cool. I actually have mine at about 10 inches from my top. But another simple rule is put your hand under it and if it feels warm on the back of your hand its too close.

I'm goin for a air cooled hood in the nxt grow or two.

My baby is startin to get hungry. PPM startin was 320 range, now its at 250. Going to so a new mix today/2moron I think she can take 400/450.

Right on man, looking awesome! I may need to try the laughing buddha sometime - great looking bud development and nice node spacing...typical of Barney's genetics. Keep it up! +rep!!

Your buds are looking beautiful my man, keep up the good work. I agree with you it's all about watching for what the plant wants. Can't wait to see this in a couple of weeks.
