Just asked the former assistant to one of the largest commercial growers here how the grower flushes. I was very interested in this because the grower’s product is always tasteless and no more potent than anything I grow.
“2 weeks of straight RO water.”
This grower also experiences everything from nanners to hermies so he ain’t no Superman. Now consider this.

I actually use Remo Nutrients and feed up until 2 days before chopping. My shit tastes and smokes just like flushed stuff. Nice white ash too
I’d say the lazy fuck in this thread is you for being too lazy to mix up food for the plants in their biggest stage in their life cycle?

Read the link I posted. By people actually in the commercial end of growing cannabis. I also feed almost to the end. I might water twice and it’s not with RO water.

Straight from Remo nutes.
You’ll want to feed your plants with only water for the last couple weeks before harvest to ensure any residual elements (any nutrients your plants didn’t uptake during the grow cycle) are flushed out of the flower, leaving you with the cleanest product possible. The main difference between flushed and unflushed flower is in the burn – if it burns black, it’s not flushed well enough…you want it to burn as white as possible
I can tell you first hand that flushing wont make a properly fed product burn better and if it did, all the organic guys would be doing it (you cant yet the bud still comes out perfect), I CAN also tell you first hand that when most plants hit even slight lockouts of secondary/trace elements due to heavy feedings and/or bad ratios usually get harsh and lack flavor, flushing these would probably make a difference but it's bad practice and you are loosing weight.

Stop feeding and watch the leaves as the plant cannibalizes itself for the nutrients you’re starving it of. If your goal is growing fan leaves with the least retained nutrients go for the flush.

So far, there has been a lull, i think the whole thing disappeared into thin air.
Im organic, happy as Larry, and don't flush, apart when I have a pony and trap on the carzey.
