leaf problems

Hows trix onyone.Im new hear and iv got some questions about leaf problems. Ok its an outdoor grow in ireland they are 4 weeks in and looked good til recently. Iv been watering and feeding with a 10.6/1.6/1.6 nutrient.What do you think

I think there doing alright. I would say give them some time. What is your PH at?

and if i didnt know better i would say something is messing with your plants. I really dont know there, but anyhow welcome to RIU

ya i think your right. the soapy water should help i dont know my ph. how can i check it

Ok... first pic... nice thumb

Yes, you've attracted a few munchy beasties, and if it doesn't get out of hand, your plants will grow right through it. I think your weed looks nice and sturdy, and not stretched at all. They will explode with growth pretty soon since I think they have already built a good foundation, which is important later on.

That second to the last pic was out of focus but I think I saw some aphids.... you can either just rub them off gently with your thumb (back to that thumb!) and then squish hard after you let go of the leaf, or you can buy some organic insecticide spray.

I'll have to take your word on that

Aphids are quite common and not nearly a devastating pest as leaf miners are. If you get them under control early that is. Just rub them off gently....

thanks dude. they are 4 weeks old the weather has been better than normal lately.I hope it continues.

about the ph you go to your local nursery or wal-mart and buy a ph testing kit. as well as some ph down solution and you want to have you ph levels around 5.8-6.5is were i keep mine at. It prevents nutrient lockup so your plants get nutrients they need insteed of rejecting them. Goodluck bud

Irish, if you wish to check your PH, test the water which runs out of the bottom of the pot after you give it a big drink. By the looks of your grow, there is no need. I have never had a problem with PH with an outdoor grow, so I think, no worries there. Just feed them neutral water and I'm sure it will be fine.

Thanks again for imput. Its great to get advice thats makes sense Im looking forward to a good bust of groth over the next few weeks.I'l be sure and post some more pics in a few weeks.Til the next time happy days everyone.

Whats the craic man...if yer gonna leave em in those pots ye should check the PH runoff from the soil yer using...Any Grow shops close to ye? There's lots of em about around IRL....If so get a liquid Ph tester.
What is the soil by the way?

They are looking good if the weather has been same has the uk ideal temps for outdoor grow 28/30 day time.The temp drops down to 16 at night the plant should be loveing it i have a outdoor grow my self been and checked the other day the plants are well into 5/6 ft tall.If this weather keeps up then these plants will be throwing at least 2 pound per plant .

Its an organic compost. Im going to check the ph tomorow I dont think its a problem do. Would you recomend bigger pots.

Only transplant when you can see roots at the very bottom of the pot. Most folks transplant too early. Make sure the entire amount of soil comes out with the plant. Anything else is a less than perfect operation.
